A few questions for you Marc: Do you record all your tournament plays and cut clips as necessary? Or is there some special program that will allow you to retrieve clips from the last X minutes of gameplay? I usually record them with geforce experience share for analysis but I think it is also possible to save last 5 minutes of gameplay I record with fraps when I get a good shot. 30 seconds is already a gigabyte at a lowered resolution (960 x 530) Seems like yours is recorded in 1080p. So if you record the entire tournament for close to 2 hours, do you end up with a gigantic file that's hundreds of gigabytes?

Playing on exemption here this week hoping -14 makes the cut this shot in round 1 will be something I'll remember for quiet a while Wow! I'm surprised just one box to the right was enough to counteract most of that 17 mph cross wind. I usually play one box as 12 mph for that iron and then move about 6 more clicks to work with the remaining 4 mph. Such an amazing shot because of the angle that it came down at. One in to either side and you might have been staring at a 17 yard rough flop shot. As for the cut, I'm sure you're in the clear. Would be a pity if you weren't as your overall score was great. I play 1 box 11mph the rest is feel I dont use clicks

From my experience (I work with video editing) GeForce Experience does a great job optimizing compression and quality. Fraps just captures raw (or pretty close to) and basically doesn't give a sh%$ about your disk space

Sorry canthitstraight but FRAPS is straight up bullshit Well, I play on an outdated computer (read: 10 year old motherboard) so I suppose it makes sense that I deal with outdated video capture methods. Seems like the nvidia method is a lot more efficient with compression. I wonder if ATI has a decent built in capture.

Well you was right. I shouldnt have stopped playing lol. Tgc decided that the final round wasnt going to give me anything. Made no bogeys but mustve had at least 5 putts roll over or lip just out of the hole, unbelievable. Then i missed a 10 ft breaker on 18 to finish level with you, so i finished with an awful 63 (-8) total -43 absolutely shocking! Hero to zero!! Okay this is the last im gna say about this tourney, i bottled it in round 4 fair enough but cuz im such a sore loser i had to go back and see the shots that let me down and would you believe it while watching the replay of some of my putts, 2 of the shots that actually lipped out actually went in on the replay so WTF is that all about!! TGC:( have actually done a screwjob on me lol. This is quite common and HB knows about it. The reason given is they don't save the whole shot from start to finish. They only save the data up to the point that you hit the ball. On replay all this data is fed back to the servers and the shot is literally hit again, but slight differences in the greens, wind, firmness AND gpu rounding differences (even though it is the same GPU seeing it) can actually alter the shot and make the ball magically go in. This is also why when you play an opponent a shot may go in on your computer but on theirs it does not. I've accepted this explanation, but then when I have a ball actually go INTO the cup live and then I'm left with a 1 inch putt and actually didn't make it and the replay shows it not going in... I would think it is the same bug...but I was told this was impossible despite seeing it happen 3 times... In short, until they save the WHOLE shot, which they won't do cause it would take up far too much memory on their servers or they decide to save the shot some how on our computers, which they can't do cause they won't be able to do it for consoles then, we are left with 'best' guesses when it comes to replays and shots we see from the opponents we play.

Opened with a pair of 66's, no idea if that will make the cut so I'll wait til later in the week to see if I should carry on. Left myself way too many breaking putts and didn't make a single par 5 birdie in R1. Outstanding R1 score by "Regan and Carter', guess thats why he's #1

64,62.63,62= -33 Firstly, (just to get it out of the way), VWP Tony , pipped me by 3 this week. Tom, Daddyjules, Ian great scoring guys, VWP. Managed to topple me auld mukka Trowelhead this week , happy days , Cant beat lucky golfers, aye Nath? Same old, same old, putting issues, few approach issues but I am content, except for the front 9 of rd3,, From H1-H9, I had one shot per hole that was 92-96%, don't know why, just could not figure it out, after this happening on the par 5 9th, leading to a bogey, for the first time, I actually put the pad down and made a coffee, as I was just about ready to have a TOM TANTRUM , now as my playing buddies know, (I hope anyway), I do not lose it whilst playing, (insert sarcastic quote from T.R DEVIL here), but today a very nearly did.
Good luck all who have yet to play, Except Chrashbird with his final 2rds and Well played all whom have finished.

Hello - another newcomer I barely crawled my way back over the cutline after a shaky start last week on exemption so I am happy to be here and exited to see how things shall go. I Have never won a tournament so far (best is runner up in same score as winner) and with the fine scores reported here, I shall not in any near future either. I have my own target, which is trying to make the cut, so best of luck to all fighting it out for the podium. Fingers crossed - I am off to tee number 1
