Card is an nVidia..not the greatest but haven't had too many issues with it lagging. I'll try to tweak the setting down a bit more and see if it helps any. Maybe I should stop buying hockey jerseys and purchase a new GPU....but I can't shake the habit..LOL Jim, that's your problem. This game is a graphics hog. I have a Raydeon R7 200 and it sucks with this game. My frame rate is like 20. It's a miracle I can play it at all. I can get 35-40 FPS on the settings I use..so it isn't the frame rate so much. and Tim....some things are better left in the closet

I hacked, clawed, lagged and glitched my way to a -29 total on the 2nd time through my practice tour. I'm gonna concentrate on the rain set up the next couple of days...i can shoot -9 -10 on the regular setup even with screw ups. The rain isn't being my friend right now.

Anyone got any ideas for making the putt on one and getting it close on two? Even consistent -14 guys like Big Slug and Nightstalker59 are missing the birdie on these holes unless you nail the shot to 3 feet.

I find this course to have very nasty left to right and right to left putts if you land under the holes. I prefer to go long or to the flatter side on almost every hole for a more flat putt. Trouble is hitting the preferred spots consistently. Greens are also very slow and it seemingly dies right at the hole or has a hidden break in there. It can be an easy course...but hit in the wrong spots and you will struggle.

Jim. I'm not a golfer. What exactly is ball squirt? Also, what do you mean by glitchy? Ball Squirt is where the ball should react one way by where it lands..and it bounces in the complete opposite direction( IE lands in the fairway and takes a complete right angle hop into the rough). And by glitchy I mean the course stutters a lot for me while playing it...causes me to miss shots I shouldn't miss. Jim are you sure about this? Cause from what I understand "ball squirt" is a random effect that occurs when you hit the ball. No matter how straight you hit it, the ball will be pushed to the left/right (in the air). This is to "simulate" the human mistake as far as I learned from the HB forums.

Could be that is the defined definition by HB standards..but what I've experienced on the fairways...right in the middle of the fairway at times..can only be described as "ball squirt" from a golfing term. I've seen some pretty weird things happen in this game. Like anything though...I will rise above it and persevere

For what it's worth...I find Drayton to play tougher than Fossmill when the winds are up. Also more "hidden" breaks on the greens than Fossmill in my opinion

I've missed more "straight" 5 footers on this course than all other courses combined

I've missed more "straight" 5 footers on this course than all other courses combined I'm actually having more problems with the green firmness on days 1 and 4. I suspect they're very firm but can't really tell. Days 2 and 3 are definitely softer. Have to keep working on my loft.

For me I find it way easier than Fossmill, even with wind, only because I have a terminal case of Slicititus Disease and with Fossmill it ate me alive if I wasn't straight on. Drayton I've done -35 in both Jims and Wags Tuneups and just did -37 on mine (bacon lakes) and that was with a -3 3'rd round. I seem to have myself dialed in on this course, yet I won't let that get to my head Saturday.
My goal come tournament is -10 each round. I know I wont win, not even trying to, just to get a decent score to try and get my B card.

mrooola little coward.... I already managed to shoot double digits rounds in both setups, so I think I don't need more practice. Just waiting for the official opening of the tournament and being able of making such scores the four rounds.
