So seems like we've not created a thread for CC-A, most likely as a lot of the regulars are hanging out on the Web tour this week with exemptions.
I, myself am up here on an exemption from B, started off with a 55 to stand in a tie for 2nd after round 1. Followed it up with a 59 to be -26 after 2. The winds are very light for round 2 so I don't feel like 59 is all that good, especially to stay in contention.
Time will tell I guess!

Apparently, I do not wish to be here (j/k).
I started off well, -13 for the first round. Then it went downhill....fast. -9 in the 2nd and -8 in the 3rd. I thought, maybe, just maybe I might scrape into contention to stay up here.
Then the final round hit, and hit me hard! I am currently -1 after 14 holes. Not looking good.

Yea, I was in same exact boat at you, -13, then -9. Was hoping that other's had the same decline and round 2 scores would go down, but guess not from the release of the scores today.

I played the final two rounds 60, 61 which leaves me -45 for the week. Hopefully gets me my A card, though I doubt I'll get a look up the Web tour next week. Let it get away from me some.
A highlight of round three had to be 8 & 9 which despite the combined 800 years I managed to play even despite 6 putts. That the controller didn't get flung out of the nearest window was a miracle in itself...

I am here from B again this week too....had a better 3rd and 4th round than 1 & 2...think it might be enough to get my card here, but will have to see. Am 23 under after 2, but had my best ever score in round 4

Finished with -34. Got a feeling that's going to be the 3rd strike and me back in cc-b

Yeah it's strange if the course is hard I seem to rise to the challenge better. When faced with these birdie fests I think I put too much pressure on myself to constantly hit under par each hole and then let it get into my head when I only make par etc

In fact I did better with the gusting winds in round 3 then I did with calmer ones in rounds 2 & 4. Also it's all about how many eagles you can rack up on holes 7, 8, and 9. That pretty much makes or breaks your round, at least it did for me.

Never a truer word spoken. As a for instance I played 8 +1 for the week, totally unacceptable. Basically that will cost be at least 4 shots in my overall score and that'll be the difference of getting an exemption up to Web. 61 in the final round won't cut it and I'm right on the bubble after 3.

-35 for the whole shebang. I should be right on the strike line. First week, I have some questions. I'm seeing three "lines" on the leaderboard, an exemption line, a "clear strikes" line and a demotion strike line. I'm assuming, but I'd just like some reassurance on how all this work.
-If you fall ahead of the exemption line, you earn a spot for a future week (next week?) on the next highest tournament? -If you fall ahead of the clear strikes line, any demotion strikes you have accrued go away? Or just one strike? -If you fall below the demotion strike line, you earn a strike. How many before I fall below to CC-B?
I got that all right?

You are right about the various lines, it takes three strikes to be demoted.

And the clear strikes, clears all strikes
