There continues to be API data pulled to check against these things. I am not privy to this controller firsthand. But from reading what yaters said earlier in this post, the sensitivity you can adjust is for the strength of the backswing and upswing. For instance, I swing (push) forward very softly. When the PS4 updated last summer, many people had no issues, but some had big problems hitting 100% swings. I was one of them. I had to slam the crap on my front swing to get 100%. It was so bad that I went to PC for 2+ months. The way I read yaters explanation, you can adjust this so one can change this setting, but it does not affect the 'straightness' of the swing, just the tempo.
Again, I have no experience with anything but stock controllers in TGC play, but the way I read it is different than straight shooting.

Wag,
If the controller can be manipulated to swing straighter then you switch to the stock controller that came with the Xbox while playing TGC, or don't play in TGCT tournaments, very simple.
As I said, I don't have any info on this particular controller, but I will say that the responses in this thread aren't exactly encouraging.

I don't believe the type of controller can be detected, but straight shooting can be detected.

How? The line still wouldn't be dead straight, just straighter than it would have been if the stick sensitivity were unaltered.
A big miss becomes a small miss, etc. I've read on here that no swing is dead straight, even the ones that appear as a straight line on screen. So you still wouldn't have anyone with perfect outputs, but I don't see how this means they couldn't minimize their imperfections, which would be cheating.
A definitive answer from those who have the info and have seen data from these controllers would help. The speculation offered thus far has been less than convincing. If the concerns being raised are unfounded, then someone with knowledge on the subject should explain why and put this thread to bed.

I played last weeks tournament using a stock controller for the first round and an Elite controller for the last three I actually played better with the stock controller and the data for that will be in the API so they can pull it up when they like. I have been told by Doyley that I'm not on a list for straight shooting. I bought the controller for other games so I won't be using it for TGC.

The issue is: can the controller be modified such that x-axis sensitivity is lessened? The answer is either yes or no.
Responses from individuals saying their results haven't improved, or that they didn't personally take advantage of an optional feature that reduces analog sensitivity offer nothing in the way of clarification.
Is there an option to reduce x-axis deviation? Can this be detected via API? Clearly if the answers are yes and no respectively there is cause for concern.

Less,
Is there a way to reduce the sensitivity of the swing stick with the controller? If there is, did you use it when playing your rounds last week?
If you didn't use the option, what conclusion can we draw from your experience?

If you didn't use the option, what conclusion can we draw from your experience? From what I gather from reading about the controller the sensitivity on the sticks can be adjusted but I suspect that's nothing you can't do if you use an Xbox controller on a PC or a Hori controller on PS4. There is a Windows 10 app to adjust everything. For my rounds last week I used the controller just as it came out of the box but I used the three different lengths of stick to see if it made a difference to the gameplay. I actually shot my best round with the stock controller.

So cheating is possible.
Using the controller on default mode doesn't shed any light on the subject, obviously. I don't think anyone is concerned with the length of the stick.
If you used it in full cheat mode then I'd be interested to see if it was detectable via API. The overall tone and lack of info in this thread leads me to believe it is not. I hope I am wrong.

Quick question lads as i dont know the rules on this. I see you cant alter the x axis for obvious reasons as that would make it easier to shoot straight. But are you aloud to alter the y axis. To the sensitivity of say a ps4 controller. I ask because i just moved from ps4 to pc and the 360 pad i have swings very quickly and id love to slow it down so its more like the ps4 pad.
