It never ceases to amaze me the things some folks moan about on the forums sometimes.. I played my tourney Saturday..as I always do... Didn't post my scores till tonight...how can I ever recover from such an inconsiderate blunder? is this a creche or a locker room? Waaa waaa waaaaaaaaa it never ceases to amaze me the things tony mcgettigan will moan at .. i played my tourney Saturday .. as i always do...i played good golf and didn't get rewarded.. so i didn't post my scores till tonight..
that's what u meant to say
Excuseeeee me Sweeneyyyyyy I'm not the one avoiding the locker room after a disappointing tourney if only Sweeney knew what a disappointing tourney actually felt like He wins more often than not but when he loses.... unbelievable!!

Ah keep plugging away man at least you have a hope unlike me I'll never get a trophy unless Sweeney has any old ones that he's throwing out? Then I'll be all over that sh%$ ;-) He must be running out of room by now Sweeney wouldn't throw out a loaf of bread that's being outta date for 10 years, never mind give some1 an old trophy #tightaswenger mcgettigan wouldn't have any bread left to throw

Up on exemption this week and it's going to be a short stay by the look of it, couldn't get anything going round 1 and a double bogey on 13 had me at +3 finished with a 71 in the end. Played much better round 2 and got some birdies but had too many burnt edges and a costly 3 putt on 18. 71, 62 and not a hope of making the cut. What a course though, kudos to the designer for this masterpiece

After playing last week I caught the bug of tournament golf again.
1st round saw the return of 2 Putt Shakur, couldn't hole anything of length and the only bogey was on the 18th when my flop shot hit the damn flag and rolled back 12 or so feet. Ended up -3.
Round 2 was on fire and holing every long putt early on, -6 after 5. Then cooled off a bit, managed -13 which included a par at the short PW par 3 into a 1 mph wind (pushed it somehow) and had an eagle putt on 17 which just missed the cup, rolled 2 feet by and then kept going and rolled off the green so only made par.
Was going to stop after hitting my drive on the 1st hole of R3 but after it just rolled into the rough I stupidly carried on and after 2 bogies and 2 birdies I'm Even after 8 holes I think......I might have 1 GIR lol. Gonna try to salvage -2 or 3 for the rest of the round and get near -25 overall, doubt I can though as I suck on fast/firm courses.
Great score by Cairnsy, I'd only get near that if 3 of the rounds had soft greens.

Puuhhhhhh... I'm done with this week, and it was one hell of a tournament! First of all, kudos to the designer of the course! While it was challenging me 72 holes long, I totally loved it. The higher winds during this tourney occasionally really made me feel playing Links golf! Awesome! I really had problems during Rd1 to get used to the conditions on-course. Only hit 50% of the greens and was finally happy to bring in a 66 (-4) at least. I knew I had to improve during Rd2, otherwise I'd probably not make the cut for the 1st time of the season. The softer conditions definitely helped to achieve that, and I finished with a good (but not amazing) round of 59 (-11). At that time I already knew some of the scores, so I was quiet relaxed about the cut with -15 after Rd2. Went out and tried to avoid Bogeys as good as I can & convert those few chances on the course to make an easy birdie. I managed to stay Bogey-free in Rd3 and finished with a solid 64 (-6). Something like -10 was in reach, but I was very unlucky on the putting surface. My final round was fine basically, but I scored a Bogey on the 72nd green which pisses me off. Luckily, I made an Eagle just before that, so my score of 62 (-8) was okay I'd say. Final score: -29I wish I would have made -30 (just because it looks better, right? ). But basically, I'm really happy with that score especially after my opening round. No idea yet where this will take me at the end of the tournament.... Top30? Top20? Top...? That's some good scoring there. I like to play against your ghost because your good enough for me to chase but not ridiculously good that I'm left flailing in your wake. I very rarely keep up but it's a bloody good challenge. Sadly, I had to play early this week so was all done before you were even putting your shoes on! Lol you like to follow his ghost because u find it easier. If you want to improve on this game i would honestly give up the following ghosts around. You need to be able to see your own shots to really improve. At first you will probably not score as well, but give it time playing on your own and you will improve.

Not necessarily following his line but chasing his score. I play better in RWG if I play with a better golfer and the same principle works here too. I know enough about course management and playing the percentages to plot my own way through 18 holes, I've been doing it for over 30 years in real and computer golf.

Fair enough if your happy. Everyone looks at stuff different. I can see the scores of everybody inbetween holes so unless you actually play on enabled i dont see the difference.

Well I half jokingly said I would do a watchers report for Euro this week but after getting a like from the World No.1 I have to don't I
First Ever Watchers Eve Watchers Report EuroWith 35 Watchers left to play coincidently the same as in Web just proving there is equal amounts of Watchery riddled throughout the TGC community! The Watcher Safe Zone is current just at -11 which could be affected by any Lurkers rising from the gorse ditches around Birkdale. -10 has a 85% shot of making the weekend were we see HeMan1202 up on exemption using all the powers of the greyskull to win his Euro card. We also see The scourge of Web up here on his battlefield promotion and with 8 exemptions hung up above his fireplace Ratna Syamsuhir. -9 59% shot at making the weekend we see Wildrover who appears to be having an average tournament and in danger of getting cut before the weekend. Maybe he is just replicating Louis Van Gaal to show his support? -8 38% shot for nantez88 to make the weekend looks like another tight one for the original "Nearly Boy" -7 32% for McDonald Brother number 2 feng187 (Ill get abuse for calling him number 2) to earn his Euro Card an leave me abandoned on Web wallowing in self pitty, drinking myself to sleep singing "all by myself" and thinking of the good times . *cough* I digress -6 11% an no hope of the weekend sorry lads. -5 all cut

What started out as watcher humor (and still is) turned into these cut line reports that are fantastic. Not sure how much time you put into calculating the percentages but thanks for doing it, it's awesome.

My poor form on firm/fast continued. Managed -4 and -2 for my last two rounds for -22, kept coming up short of the greens in an attempt not to go bounding through. No sign of Balzhisers score yet for Tom to start singing about sticking him where the sun doesn't shine I do hope his old man didn't ask him to be a PGA Tour fan
