I shot - 10 -11 -11 -10 in cc-a this week That could well win it, least be up there. It's kind of nice to see I'm not the only one who struggled to get going. Drives in the rough, missing chances for 5 pars under GIR is always disappointing. Doing that 3 times a round for example over 4 rounds cost a lot of shots to people who make eagles and easy birdies. Then the wind had me at times and my putting...just one of them weeks. I really need to get hold of a rule of thumb for cross wind through the bag. the par 5's on that course suck lol, you need the wind just right and a lucky landing to have a chance to drive a par 5 but most likely you will either run off or come short or drive in the rough or bunker. some of the pins were right next to steep slopes which cost me quite a few shots, double boggied the 72nd hole thanks to that. was -7 going to it looking for par, missed left and you have to just take a longish shot past the flag and hope you make the return putt, i didnt the wind on this game is useless. one min you have a 10 from the side and shunts you off the green, next hole, similar shot so you adjust for it but it doesnt touch it. this caused me to miss at least 10-18 greens out of 72 this tourny. -3,-2,-4,-5=-14 a bad score

The greens are slower, I prefer slower as I've not really played fast greens this game. I suck at fast greens. I believe there are a couple of tune up tournaments set up that can be found in the thread Course of St George or something like that. Oh and watch the 11th. The green has tricked me out every time, suggest staying short of the pin. Probably just my putting though

Fast and firm greens arent that bad as long as the rest of the course suits the conditions, sadly the willows doesnt. if you want to get used to firm and fast going, practice on tye dunes fast and firm, a great course yes thats its name, he does a good course.
