Why are all clubs different lengths?
A question I have pondered for almost 40 years.
It makes sense to me that players struggling to hit center of the face like me, have that difficulty because each and every shot requires you to be a different distance away from the ball.
Why not have 3 lengths. 1 for driver, 1 for hybrids and 1 for irons. Just different lofts is all.

Longer shafts generate higher swing speeds. It just isn't about face angle, that is for loft.

Dechambeau - interesting player.... It's a very good question - Boomy! Shame about his etiquette! Sullivan and Rory were looking for a lost ball why Dechambeau just stood by his ball and watched.

Also doesn't shout fore when the ball is heading straight into a crowd. I hate it when players don't shout, pet hate.

The longer the club, the more club head speed you generate. Two things affect distance, club angle and club length.
