So just finished the tourney and shot a 28. Hopefully it will keep us in the top ten with the high 20s. Like wags this is one of my best scores on a tourney. I left a lot of putts out there but I was happy with my short game. The closer I get for the putt the better. Putting is my Achilles heal in this game! I hope we get in the top ten this week. Nice job everyone. Forts

Hey that's great. After 3 months I was still trying to break par. You'll get there.

Well, unless Michael Clark knocks out a 13 under in round 4 in hurricane winds, I've locked up T7 for this one and will be moving on to D Class next week.
Now if only I can regain my game that has gone south the last 2 days.

Not that I am refreshing the leaderboard every 5 minutes and working out every permitation, no not me. My back nine on the final round, 11 putts , 100% Gir, with those winds. Now too scared to practise as I will never be that good again.

I don't think you have a deadline on the CC Flights, can post all 4 rounds at the end of the tourney if you so desire.

Well, even if he and the other guy (who would have to shoot 13 under) somehow pass me, I'd still end up 9th which will still be good enough for an exemption, so I'm not worried.

To keep the card you need:
To finish in top 70 AND
Being one of the top three players under exemption or being 10 shots away from the best exemption final result

To keep the card you need: To finish in top 70 AND Being one of the top three players under exemption or being 10 shots away from the best exemption final result When you say "keep" the card, does that mean permanently so that you can't drop to the class below you ever or do you mean just for that week, meaning if I don't meet all those criteria the week after I go from E to D Class I immediately go back down to E Class even though I may only have one strike or, even with no strikes I don't meet the other criteria? Let me make this simple for you to answer. I'm going to finish in the top 10 this week (I still don't believe it) which means, I assume, that next week I will go from Class E to Class D, correct? Now, let's say that next week in Class D I make top 70 BUT I'm not one of the top 3 players who are under exemption and not 10 shots away from the best exemption final result. Do I immediately go back to Class E the following week? I was under the assumption that you needed 3 strikes to drop to the class below you, but I'm getting that this isn't true if you go to the class above you through exemption. Please confirm the above so I don't go nuts trying to figure this out.

No, the exemption means that you are given the chance to play that next week in the upper flight, but your card is the same you had (in your case, the next week you will be a CC-E player "invited" to play in CC-D). If you do well, meeting those criteria, you are given a CC-D card. Otherwise, you simply stay in your flight (CC-E)

Good to see your game coming along @wagtunes. It's been quite the journey but I'm sure the progression feels good.
