Someone is -14 after one round!!? Six strokes up on the next best!! Uh oh. That is insanity. There must be a better way to shake out the tiers. I wonder if ALL CC players were dumped into the same pool for the first two rounds every week and then after the first two rounds are posted, the get sifted into tiers based in groups of 72. Perhaps then points/money are alotted based on placement within a tier. Promotion/demotion to web.com could be based on every four-five weeks. I am just throwing it out there. I mean the current system DOES work but there are often 3-5 players that separate themselves so far from the group that really they ought to be a level or two up. Meh. Who knows. Time to head home and try my luck in this week's tournament. Well, we've got a few 10 unders in E Class so I don't know. I've stopped worrying about the system as I can't really do anything about it other than just go out there and shoot the best that I can. Eventually, I'll end up somewhere where I actually have a chance to compete or not. Right now, just having fun playing golf.

An upsetting up and down for me in the last 2 rounds. I took off the cylinder an incredible 62 in the 3rd round but that took me too relaxed in the 4th one... bogey bogey and I was dancing at 2 over after 2 holes. I made too many stupid little misjudgement on the greens and I was unable to recover. Than at 11 hole I hit the sand and I was very nervous about the water behind the hole... bogey there and bogey again at the 18 again fo the sand. I started very relaxed and I finished very nervously with a 2 under par for a -25 for the tourny. Not a problem but I feel as if I'm loosing an occasion for a good result (and to score better than my friend Jim ABU_Bear )

68-65-65-67. Ugh. Need I say more. You know, I can't help but find this amusing. Class D, 24 under and you're unhappy. If I shot that I'd be out getting drunk. At worst, you'll be in Class D next week with those scores. You're certainly not going to be dumped down to E or even get a demotion strike. Interesting how all of this is so relative. Oh, and just a friendly FYI. Looking at the scores so far in Class D, doing some basic projecting based on the small sample size so far, 24 under may very well get you into the top 10. But like I said, everything is relative isn't it. I shot 8 under and will probably finish somewhere between 48th and 52d place in Class E based on early returns. I'll take it.

Not overly upset. Just frustrated with myself. I know that I will be forever one of those players that finish in the top 20 every week that I am in CC-D and will get my fair share of exemptions to CC-C. Where my frustration lies is that I am what I call "just not good enough" players. I am simply a notch or two shy of winning a CC-D tournament and a notch or two shy of sticking in CC-C. And while I am happy in CC-D, just once I would like one of those break through weeks where I have a legitimate shot at winning the week (so I can get one of those little badges in my profile!). I know it seems silly, but I just grow weary of being close. I liken it to a sports team that is JUST not good enough to make the playoffs but not bad enough to get a fantastic draft pick. I know that my -24 is not solid enough to earn that badge yet. I truly love being in CC-D, however.

I'll never make top 10 let alone win anything. My best finish was somewhere in the top 30 that killed my 2 demotion strikes but that was a fluke and probably won't happen again. Like I said, I'll probably finish between 48th and 52nd based on the early returns. If I can do that on a weekly basis and keep out of Z Class, I'll be happy.

C'mon Jim!!! That's a bad streak, nothing serious. I wish I had -26 for my bad weeks. After 2, I'm sitting in -10, thanks to a bit of improvement with the putt on 2nd round (65) When I do it to myself..I can live with it...but when a flaw in the game dynamics starts costing me tournaments or a chance at exemption..I get a bit raged. One or 2 I can understand...but a minimum 10 in one tournament..c'mon. Jim, would you mind doing me a favour? There's a guy up in A on exemption that I'm battling with to retain my spot. He's on PC and his handle is "stained" Any chance of finding out his final score - if he's finished yet that is?

There's no way to find out his 4 rounds, if he's even played them all, until they're posted.

Thanks Wag. Surely when he completes all four rounds he will appear on the PC leaderboards. Whether or not he posts to TGC leaderboards is another thing.
