It was a tough year here but I've learned a lot from it thanks to the helpful players.
These are my golf resolutions for the new year, short and to the point.
1) Stay upbeat and positive no matter what.
2) Play every hole the best that I can no matter how bad the round is going.
3) Relax. it's just a game.
4) No complaining about courses, conditions, rules, whatever. Take whatever comes my way and deal with it.
5) Help others when I can. Even I may have something to offer a newer player.
That's it.
Happy New Year to everybody and thank you for your patience with this new and struggling golfer.
This can be a very humbling game.

It's good to hear you made peace with the game Like I said before: EVERYONE, and I really mean EVERYONE, had a moment, a week, a tourney (or even a couple of the above) of extreme struggle. An "I want to get it done whit this sh%$" moment. It's just how this game is, because it lacks (and this is a huge flow IMHO) in giving the player the tools to understand it. You have to search online, have luck to find someone who's willing to share, spend a lot of time practicing and researching the game itself...and that could be frustrating. At a point that I think without this community (or similar ones) this game will be dead. And that's also why I truly believe everyone should participate more, and "cross the pond" more from the "top tiers forums" trough here and vice versa - because sharing thoughts and knowledge is what makes this experience fun for everyone Have a nice 2016 Steven! And feel free to ask if what little I know about this game could help make your experience more enjoyable ^^

@wagtunes
Thanks for writing this out. I have thought about a few of those same things, as surely many of us struggle with the same thing. I have focused on doing several of the same this past tournament, and saw some benefit right away as I finally won one, albeit CC-Z. I always have a melt down in 1 round or another, and it starts as a result of 1 bad hole bringing me down and then not really focusing for the rest of the round. I let that hole go this time, and while it still affected me, it didn't kill my scores like it has in the past. Thanks again for sharing!
