I was wondering, if someone gets an exemption from say, CC-B to A and qualifies to stay, does the money they earn in their previous tour come with them or do they start from 0 and work their way up? If they take the money with them then it would be a shame on the ones grinding away already in that tour as they could be leap frogged by someone whos only played 1 event in that tour. If it works that way then stands to reason that someone dropping from pga would take their money down to web and could end up near the top of web without playing an event and knocking down players that have grinded away to stay top all season. Lol as someone whos just grinding away and in no danger of promotion soon, I was just wondering. I had my best 4 rounds of the season but sadly it was not good enough and ended up dropping 27 spots, ouch lol, these are the hazards of not being consistent and not being able to shoot -40

Money follows you up/down the tours. If you get leap frogged by someone that has played 8 CC-B events and 1 CC-A event (as a CC-A player) they are better than you as their CC-B money has 5% chopped off compared to CC-A (who keep 100% of money earned). It's a competitive circuit - got to keep a high level of golf to stay up on the leaderboards.
