I just noticed, in checking my stats, that I have earnings. Wow!
Do they mean anything? If I reach a certain level do I get to cash them in for prizes? Do I progress to another class? Or are they just for bragging rights?

I don't think they mean much of anything except the Match Lite Championship in April, and if I absorb that right, I guess I stand a chance, currently at 25'th on the public money list. tgctours.proboards.com/thread/5714/challenge-circuit-updates-season-2Match-play The Match Light Match Play will take the top 64 available Challenge Circuit money leaders (from a master money list) and see who's the #1 match player. You must hold a Challenge Circuit card at the start of the event to participate and accept the invite to play.On a side note, I'm trying to wrap my head around the WGR. I had my best finish in a long time, 18'th, which gets me a top 25 finish, yet I drop 8 spots in the WGR.

I wish I could help you with that but quite honestly, 90% of this whole setup has me totally baffled. I just play my round and hope for the best.

lol, me too, really all that concerns me is avoiding strikes and demotions. I'll never win one and don't really care if I do. Sure I would like to advance a tier or two, but that probably wont happen. I'm ok with that, truth is, I prefer playing in the CC tiers anyway, the camaraderie, kindness, humility and willingness to help others improve makes the CC tiers a great place to play. I just play my round and hope for the best.

For what I understood about WGR on the forums I think your situation could be the result of many factors combined. WGR points calculations are based on the flight and on the Strength of Field (the more your flight hosts strong players the more points you get) - so it is possible, as the Wayne Invitational was an easy tourney compared to the TGCT standards (maybe the easiest so far), that a lot of players below your WGR did really good and for more points. And also, from a quick glimpse at the WGR leaderboard, I see that above you there are lots of players on higher flights than you - that means for an equal result they (should) get more points. That's at least what I think on top of my mind happened Also every month there are players who jump in from the Q-School on the tours. They won't be on the WGR leaderboard since they've completed couple of tourneys (if I remember correctly). So it is possible that some of them filled spots above you.

I can understand that, having looked around seeing those below me gain spots. I'm an average player at best so I can understand those who have just started gaining ground. No matter though, its just a number anyway lol. I had high hopes a few months back of hitting the 400 mark, but have been on a steady slide downhill lately. Hope I din't come across as complaining, was a curiosity more than anything. I'll take whatever they dish out to me lol For what I understood about WGR on the forums I think your situation could be the result of many factors combined. I was just trying to help sharing the little I learned about the WGR mechanics Being in the TGCT community I started to appreciate every little info anyone would kindly share - so I'm trying to do my part Plus most of us started from CC (can't forget your roots), and it's always nice to help here - as I received help when needed BTW If I were you, dropping WGR after a good result, I would be soo pissed off
