I can't believe Pablo hasn't started this thread yet.
Well tough one this week ladies and gents! Various wind speeds, unforgiving greens and jungle like roughs out there. Managed a -2 the first round, which I was happy with considering how difficult the course is. Love the course btw even though it is such a ***** if you screw up once. The back ate me up with three bogies. All in all love the challenge and looking forward to my 2nd round tonight. Cya on the course!!

Well 2nd round was a disaster on the greens. I wish there was a fast forward button because I'd hit it within 6 feet on my approach shot and that little white bastard would roll 30 feet in all sorts of directions. Slowly . Argh that's painful to watch. Anyway tough pin placements, I'm sure round three won't disappoint.

after 3 rounds my scores are 68-68-68 so pretty consistent and I'm pretty happy with them on what is a not too easy course

I'm glad I am not alone in my struggles, the greens literally KILLED me, in fact, had me questioning my interest in moving forward on the TGCT tours, I know I am a horrible putter, but seriously
Ill try again next week, but, this was just not very much fun

This is a nice course from tee to fringe.
The greens. .. are pure insanity.
Courses are supposed to be tough, but to fear every putt, watching a 8 foot putt roll out 30 feet, on a slow roll to China. I watched more putts just barely miss, then trickle away on a slope to hell.
I raged quit in round 3. Don't know if I want to finish Q - school on this course. With a round of 79 and 77, and 4 over in round 3 and only a few holes in... I am not a happy camper.
I nice course ruined by near impossible greens, if you're a lousy putter tno begin with. For a bottom tiered tournament, these greens shouldn't be this frick'n tough.

Just another observation. Its raining in the third round ... why are the greens still lightening fast and the fairways firm.
I never played in the rain and watched a ball roll out so fast on a soggy fairway, or green ... Usually you're lucky to find your ball for fear of plugging it. This isn't even close to being play tested for rainy conditions. Q-school, or not.
This is not a knock on the course, more so a remark about the playing conditions for the intended environment.
The course is nicely done, as stated earlier from tee to fringe. I just question the speeds for the greens and such ... as this is not web, euro or, PGA TOUR, maybe CC-A can handle these type of course, but us bottom feeders are not really having fun .... Yeah a course should be difficult, but at least make it somewhat fair ...
Again this is a nice course, but the greens are ruining any chance of enjoying a round.
Congrats to those that manage to play rounds under par for all four rounds ...
At least I know I am not alone on this struggle. Just put me at the bottom of the barrel in the bottom tier of the CC tour ...
LOL
But to be fair, it's not every green, it's only one out of two, that give you putting sweats ... And the other ones you just get putting doubts ...
Also, while I may not agree with the choice of green speeds and firmness ... this is a subjective area, and this course may not have been created with the CC tour in mind.
Be that as it may ... this course is still a strong 9.95 on the Richter scale (far as the design goes)

Well, I finished 34th in this event missing top 30 by 2 strokes. Not bad. At least I didn't get another demotion strike.
