well hated it really dont understand why q-school is played on such tricky and hard courses with winds ranging from 4mph to 14mph the course should be played only by pga, european and web players as its so hard we are in cc-z for a reason not good enough. i feel after playing this giving up because i didnt enjoy it at all. also the screen kept flicking and the shadows of the tree's on the greens at times flicked and didnt look like tree's please think before you pick a course to play q-school again.

Can't do much about the winds, but they are fair in a way that they are the same for everyone.
Keep in mind that they have to pick a course that is the same across all CC Tiers so that when people are promoted/demoted it is the same play for everyone.
This course specifically is pretty gorgeous compared to your average course, and it is tough. But Q-School should be tough in my opinion.
Don't give up! You will be surprised on how quickly you can improve!

As a mediocre player at best, I didn't think the course was that tough. The back 9 was a little harder than the front 9, especially 10, 11 and 12, but other than that, trust me, I have seen a LOT harder than this course. If I shot +1 for 4 rounds, it wasn't that hard because that's pretty good for me.

look at the players scores in cc-z and then the rest give the players in cc-z a chance at least just dont make sense to me as i said before you are in cc-z for a reason not good enough just played the first round next weeks course -4 with winds 4mph to 7mph not 10mph to 14mph

As far as I know, no one gets to pick the winds? They are generated at random and then held constant for everyone across the tournament. Is that true?
You can't expect to be on CC-Z and be shooting the same as someone in CC-A or CC-B. It penalizes the rest of us to have to play cupcake courses all of the time.

We all play the same courses and the better players move up to the higher classes. I'm in E class. I will probably always be in E class at best or possibly even move down to Z if I have 3 bad weeks in a row. That's the way it is. Why should I get an easier course and/or winds than everybody else just because I'm not as good? That's the point. You play more in order to get better so that you can move up to the higher classes. As for the winds, they are the same for everybody from A down to Z. They're randomly generated for every round and we all get the same winds. It is what it is. That's the point of having a competition. Besides, if you're in Z, simply be the best in Z and you'll move up to E. But be careful what you wish for as the higher you go in class the better caliber of player you play against with a greater chance of being dropped down to Z if you fail to make top 70 3 week straight. I actually started in D but was demoted to E because I got 3 demotion strikes without a top 30 finish. I'm actually happy to stay in the lower classes because there is no way I can compete against guys shooting 10 to 12 under par each round. Like I said, be careful what you wish for. You just might not like getting it.

im sorry i dont agree with what you say how can i get better if im suppose to play a course the same as a cc-a player does im not that good, its like putting a non league team in the premiership they re going to get beat everytime.
winds i believe are just unrealistic spoiling the game
happy to stay in lower class whats the point of that everybody wants to be the best and move up and play with the best whats the point of being in this championship you might as well play on your own.
and i want it and im hoping it will happen.
just like to say the website and competitions are fantastic and all the people involved do i great job

David I think you are missing a point... I started in September in CC-D without any knowledge of the game (bought it when I discovered TGC Tours) and quickly finished in CC-Z after 6 weeks. On my 6th week I decided to stop playing and practiced for a few days trying to understand my limits... than I played the CC-Z tournament finishing T3 with 4 solid rounds for a -23 final score (it was @ Vallentuna www.tgctours.com/Tournament/Details/1435) and bounced back in CC-E... I'm just an average player but with practiceI'm haveing nice results... had 3 tournaments now in CC-E after the "Z Experience" and had 3 "Top 30" in a row (and the 4th one is coming this week)... nothing fancy but the feeling is that shortly I will be able to battle fo the jump in CC-D with exemption... You are just playing the same tournament than CC-A players but you are battling with players of your level trying to make your way up... you just have to practice and study if you are really enjoing this fabolous game of golf (winds is easy to manage once you understand how it affects the ball).

its like putting a non league team in the premiership they re going to get beat everytime. It's not quite the same thing. Remember, you're competing against your fellow flight members - not the course. You don't have to compete with CC-A players' scores. Yeah, you might shoot what you think is a bad score, but it's likely that the rest of the players in your flight will shoot poorer scores than usual as well.

I think this course was hard. Putting was really tough, at least for me. But on the other hand, we in the CC Tour are playing the same courses with the same conditions. I guess everyone likes low scorings, but if the course plays hard and people in CC still play low scores, they deserve to get a chance to rank up. I will not belong to this group of people. Okay with me. Someone wiser than me said about real golf, "you don't play golf against other people, you play golf against yourself". This is so true. I would be happy to play the more difficult courses more often.
Just my 2 cents

And by playing flat-receptive-slow greens you will not learn a single thing. Yes, for sure playing hard courses is frustrating. But in the long term it's worth it. Getting your first exemption is like "man, I'm doing it right". So practice. Forget about the scores in the top flights. Look at your scoring average. That does not lie. If it goes down, you're doing nicely. And in the long terms, it always goes down
