My PC is struggling with the course through the first round. Hit several drives at 93%, 94% or 99%. Also had an approach at 92% once, and really struggled to get a feel for the putter (I whammed two putts 20 feet past).
I didn't play very well either, missing three or four putts from inside 10 feet and I struggled with wind throughout the round.
The first round really exposed a lot of flaws in my game that I had been getting away with while playing on easier courses.
First round 74 (+2)

First round 74 (+2) Had a couple of those but thankfully they were on short par 4's. Sometimes I notice the backswing is very slow and then if I catch it I will stop and practice swing again, then swing. Usually corrects it. This has been going on for many months now, quite annoying. I am using a Xbox 360 controller on my PC.

Though I've upgraded the gpu and cpu a few years ago, it's still not perfect. I dial down all settings to low and use a lower resolution (1080p) than native (1440p). This gives me playability in practically 100% of the courses I play. Have you tried lowering settings? +1...I have a newer PC but not very powerful on the GPU(nVidia GT730). I run Low settings on the Steam Launch screen and tweak them up a bit in game(object detail maxed out..trees lowered to around 200)...run at 720P as well on the resolution. I rarely if ever get glitching at all at these lower settings. Average 35-45 FPS and it'll run ANY course smooth without lag.

Well that was a tough course. Looked pretty, but the greens were savage. That said, I still finished with -24, but a disappointing final round of 70 put to bed any chances of a top 10 finish. With a bit more luck I would have had a -7 but the chips and putts just missed. I need to work on my yellow marker for putting as a few times I putted miles past the hole.
Good luck to those fighting for the top 10 or your except status.

I always thought the marker was set right till i saw in practice on downhill putts of 9 inches and saw it was aimed past the flag by a few feet and no wonder it missed like a rocket going past the flag lol.
