Finished that up with a 62 and a 63 for -30 total. Tough little cookie of a course!

Hope everyone is enjoying the course this week. I know a lot of people are instantly put off by firm greens (The Sunday pin version has an in game rating of 5.9! - which seems very harsh to me) but I spent a lot of time designing this course to try to make sure that virtually every pin across the 4 days is accessible with a good shot. I also kept the course length down to under 7000 yards so that you're not always hitting long irons into these firm greens.

My aim was to create a course that offered a different type of challenge to many of the others I've created and firm greens offered a way to do that. I'll admit that some of the other courses that I've created with firm greens in the past (Lac de Verde and Sierra Vista for example) were probably a little unfair in places but I'd go as far as to say that Doolough is probably my favourite of the 30+ courses I've made.

I wouldn't say it was my favourite course but i certainly like it a lot. After all i picked it over the PGA course and the conditions arn't my favourite but i had to make do. I was very willing to do that. Great test of golf although there were moments i lost it but then regained my composure. hehe you all know me!

72. 66. Missed Cut.
Nice course. Don't play whilst half asleep folks. Butchered up both Euro and TST tournaments by not waiting until Thursday to play when it would have suited my work shifts better. Couldn't help myself. Ah well. I'm a numpty. Good luck to all.

Happy with my score as i struggled in the couple of rounds i had before the comp. Better than i expected. Only dissapointment was my putting in round 4. Burn after burn in the round i felt i played best in but shot lowest. -9 -7 -13 -6 -35 total. Good luck all

I like this course Dean My only problem is 18 - too long. Yeah, could possibly be 20-30 yards shorter but wanted a tough par 3 to finish. I've bogeyed it both rounds so far so making it shorter may well have helped me out!

I need to learn how to play these greens. The winds I'm OK with, but the greens I have a hell of a time handling.
Likely will be four straight missed cuts. I've lost whatever edge I once had... not to mention confidence. Maybe I need to play some Little Brook Manor?

-7, -11, -9, -7... for a -34
Crossed over from the PGA this week to try a tougher course after all the birdiefest ones on the PGA lately. Played OK I guess. Couldn't putt worth a lick and felt like I left a ton of putts on the edge but oh well. Not really sure what to expect from my score, so I guess we'll wait and see.

I put in a bid for the mr consistent award this week, with rounds of 70, 65, 61, and capped it all off with a nice even 71. Not good enough to make the weekend rounds count, but I must say I enjoyed the course for the most part, except the par 3 18th. However, I do think you accomplished your goal of a tough finishing hole. I had a bogie on it at least twice that I can remember.
See y'all next week for more entertaining hacking
