If you guys want to practice on a non-birdie fest, try this week's Euro. I can't imagine their cut-line will be much above -10 for the first two rounds. Next week's round will be much tougher than Drayton. No way top 30 is in the -40's. Maybe top 5. I'd personally love to see those caliber of courses come down to the web for a few tournaments. I've played a few of the PGA/Euro events for fun, and the challenge can be much more significant. I suppose the pressure is relative - either don't make a mistake so you can birdie...or don't make a mistake so you can ensure at least par. But I'm sure if we get a really hard course there will be a slew of complaints about how it was unfair or artificially difficult with pin placements. Personally, I'd enjoy a chance to measure against this talented field with a setup that really makes me think before each shot. I play the PGA/Euro/CC events for fun on most weeks. I would rank this week's difficulty of courses in this manner: Euro>PGA>CC>Web.com -22 , -40, -42, -54

Could be my first missed cut of the season here, dunno how some are scoring so low I didn't find it that easy, admittedly I didn't play well, tiredness kicked in today after a long working week so for me it's on to Baja!!

I played a couple of rounds of the CC tournament last night. It is their Q-School qualifier (not exactly sure how that is working - but nice idea!). The Denali course was great but certainly harder than the Web courses we've played the last couple of weeks. A lot of that was the winds and speed of the greens. I was -20 after 2 rounds and felt like I played pretty decent, but not perfect.
I guess my point is that it doesn't make a lot of sense that the web.com course is the easiest of the bunch.

Poor first round. A double bogey after being stuck in the front bunker on 4, then 3 or 4 lip outs have cost me this week. I don't know if I could say I was unlucky or if it was poor putting.
Second round I found the same bunker and made bogey on hole 4. Other than that, it was a good round and the putts dropped.
R1- 67 (-5) R2 - 59 (-13)
I really doubt -18 will be good enough to make the cut this week, although I don't think this course was as easy as some we've played the last few weeks. Some really great scores from some of you this week, very well played.

58-59 for my first two rounds. Putter let me down horribly so far... I was really dialed in on the approaches and both rounds could've been something special. Case in point I somehow parred 18 in both rounds by missing 4 foot birdies that shot right over the hole. Hopefully I have a couple low rounds in me because I'm guessing it will take lower than -60 to take this one. Good luck gang!

59 and 62 after the first two rounds for a -23 for me.
I think this tourney comes down to who is sinking the mid-range putts (about 8 to 16 feet) and who is not. I made those the first round, but didn't the second round. And you definitely have to stick those 45-95 yard pitches...it's like tossing a bunch of lawn darts.
I'm guessing a -21 cut line.

Hey guys. Got an exemption to play on the Web this week, but I have to say I'm having second thoughts about using it. I wan't to play on the Web tour for sure, but birdie fest torneys isn't my cup of tea. Went well last week though obviously. Thing is. I know both options will be hard as hell, but I'm thinking a top 5 on the tougher course in CC-A might actually be easier obtained than a cut line on the web this week. I can't really wrap my head around it, but looking at the early scores you probably need two sub 60 rounds just to make the cut. That is CRAZY!!! I'll probably end up trying my luck here on the Web, since it seems like the "right" thing to do but... damn...

Aren't CC exemptions mandotary? meaning you can not return to CC-A before using your exemption on the web tour, sure you can WD this week but you will still have to play on the web tour next week and just a little warning if you're unsuccesful this week next weeks CC course will be a birdiefest like I've never seen before

Hmm.. Might be true. In the end it probably won't matter as I would most likely use it anyway. The point was that a guy like me who is on a bit of a hot streak and perhaps don't pack the skillset/talent as most Weber's can't afford to make the slightest mistake to even make the cut. Much the same as looking for a top 5 on any CC level. So next week is even worse... Heck then I'll just go for it and aim for a top 5 then. I hate birdiefests

I hate birdiefests I was of course talking about next weeks CC event I am an average CC-A player who missed the cut on web by one shot last week and I shot the same score as you on the CC charity event and last night I played one of the practice tours that one of the cc players had made of next weeks CC event I shot -51

Ahh.. Wow... Tough luck m8. Well good luck in Alaska then and hopefully you'll be a Weber by next week. I surely hope I am considering what's next in CC. -51 in practice is equally as silly as a -20 something cut
