And that not to speak of missed putts stopping at less of 1 foot of the cup... Greens are on the slower side of the scale, so it's important to take that into account when putting. Most players think that slower green speeds mean putting will be easier, but it's like a changeup in baseball - when you're used to something faster, the slow speed will throw you off.
