Here we go E'ers. I started smoothly, with two 67. Could have been both two 63-64, but it's in my DNA, if i don't make a couple of stupid mistakes per round, I'm not happy.

Thanks for starting this.
Scores
71, 77, 74, 71
Two reasons for the bad performance
1) Greens were like cement blocks. Approach shots, too many of which were close to 200 yards, rarely got closer than 15 feet. Some would hit the front of the green and still end up buried in the back either in the rough or trap. Absolutely frustrating.
2) Putting. I missed at last a dozen putts by 3 to 6 inches. My putting is going to kill me.
And with all that, it was two holes (shot 8 and 7) that did me in because of landing in water due to misjudged winds and/or distances. Without those two holes (out of 72) I still shoot under par.
All in all, a week I just want to forget.

The problem is, with 225 yard approach shots (way too many of these) how do you loft a 5 wood without also adding distance? And if you lost a 3 iron, you won't reach. Believe me, I use loft the best I can and it still didn't matter. On the shorter shots, not so bad. But it was the long ones that were a royal pain. And there just seemed to be too many of them. Anyway, I'm just glad this week is over.

I started with a furious round of -12. After that everything went quite back to normal. During my second round I managed a +3 on the first par three, but somehow fought my way back. The third round was quite good, but as always the fourth was not that good. Finally I got: #1 - 60 #2 - 70 #3 - 66 #4 - 71 this makes -21 for the tournament. I had not that many problems with the long approaches, but during this tournament I lost a lot of balls in the water. Have fun guys

Anyway, I'm just glad this week is over. I'm sure higher level players do it differently, but in those situations I forget about the pin. I look for the easier way to reach the green without having a huge putt. There are guys who simply rock chipping, so they look for the chip. I'm not that good in chipping, so i prefer the two putts. Despite it sometimes means three putts.

I think we will not be too far away from the win. 1 - 67 2 - 67 3 - 65 4 - 67 For a total of -22 Despite I had a few silly bogey, I'm pretty satisfied with my playing

Well done Pablo & Acido... Hope I will join your group... 68-67 for -9 after 2 rounds... and -3 after 9 holes in the third one (the dark stopped me to play the back 9 holes).

The only thing that bothered me was my inconsistent shooting. This is something I definitely have to work on. My first round was my best ever. I had three Eagles one a 200 yard tap in ;-).
I would be happy with a top 20 result this week.

Well haven't posted for a couple of weeks last week was a total diaster, hated the course and only played a couple of holes and huffed of the course and game for over a week. This week back to normal great practice round of -5 loved the feel of the course great job irvine. Hit the fist round with the same wind as my practice and felt confidant from the first tee it all just flowed. Couple of missed eagles but all the par 5's birdied which helps in any round finished on my only bogie with a 64. Just kept playing was all going well don't normally play all four rounds in one session, think it got to me on last round as this was my worst hit water left at least three puts on rim giving me either par or bogie. So in summary and i don't think it will make top ten 64 65 65 70 giving me 24 under if it does it will be great to get back up to d, good luck all i loved this course.

I was coasting with a -12 (which is good for me) after 3 rounds. But the Tullamore Dew that was fueling this great stretch ended up catching up with me and shot a +6 (ouch) in the fourth. Ended up -6, hopefully Ill back into the cut haha

I restarted from the 10th hole @ 3rd round when I was 3 under... Perfect up to the tee of the 18th, 6 under par for the round, 15 under for the tournament... Brain was disconnected and I lost 5 strokes in 4 holes slicing everywhere. I tried to regroup and was able to finish the 4th round one under par for a poor -14 for the tournament... Time to restart from scratch for week 9... the important week is coming :-)

Back in CC-E after a 4-week un-vacation on CC-D.
My putting has killed me. I must have left over 25 putts inside 2 feet during the weekend.
67 - 73 - 69 - 68 Total -11.
Won't get me demoted but not much else.

It hurts me so badly to see my scorecard...
For example. First round: 100% FIR - Great. 61.1% GIR - come on... And that not to speak of missed putts stopping at less of 1 foot of the cup...
