To my fellow Webbers.
Just to let you know for those that didn't Luke (oswinner) has resigned from his web.com scheduler possession.
By the powers vested in me by the administrator Doyley I will be taking the reigns.
It will take a while for me to get used to it all but Luke thankfully has left me a good buffer as he has done all the scheduling till the start of Feb already.
I am open to all feed back, course suggestions and critics from our dis-functional family here at web. As some may have noticed I've no issue giving my opinion! I will try to give reasoning for any decisions that you question if you don't get a response its either because its been overlooked.
Finally if you have a personal course don't be afraid to suggest it and if its been deemed tour worthy by the team but I think just a couple of small changes are needed I will tell you to try and get it on the tour but do remember there is only so many weeks on tour and alot of tour worthy courses!
Thank you for your time
Moe "The Democratic (for now) Scheduler" Slorkman

Yeah good luck Moe! Doesn't sound like an easy job. I thought about applying then went back and read the forums a few times and realized how much of a thankless job it really is Hopefully you have thick skin. I don't have specific suggestions for courses. I'd personally like to see a week where the scoring is tough - like even par is the cut line. I know that would get a lot of complaints too, but it would be fun for me to feel good about a par and like I really earned a birdie. But not a string of courses like that in a row, just a week where it is more like a major championship. The talent is good here. And the wind change makes some of the courses really easy. Thanks for stepping up though!

Thanks for stepping up though! I do plan in mixing it up a bit and having harder but not tricked up courses. I'm aware it's a thankless job and can't keep everyone happy every week but I'm glad to give it a shot. Time will tell

Give four sticks golf club a look I think it would be a good Web stop. But my opinion is biased

Yeah, tougher courses where everything is hard but nothing is over the top. Thin fairways, trees causing shot shaping, some tough pin position, firm but not super firm greens, minimal thin rough. Lots of risk reward shots. Course management should be key, approach angle also important. I'll try to come up with some suggestions.

Good luck Moe, I'm sure you will be grand as long as you listen to suggestions from others in here on what makes a good course stand out. Dean mentioned a few key things there that can make a course tough but fair and reward well thought out shots. The best players will still go low but at least will have to earn birdies along the way by shaping shots into greens or adding a bit more risk. I'm sure there are plenty of user suggested courses out there anyway and people on here will point you in the right direction
