Finished 62-67-68-63 for a -28. Probably finish around 40th by the looks of things which is disappointing considering its my course and I shot -10 in round 1.

For this week I think I'll be content with whatever spot I finish into, cause right now I'm just excited to be officially part of the Euro Tour When I bought the game last July and discovered TGCTours just couple of days after, I set "qualifying to compete in a Pro Tour" as one of my goals, and honestly I'm thrilled to play here amongst some of the best players worldwide I think I'm gonna add some of you on PS4 (RyoHazukiITA is my ID in case you receive a friend request) to ghost-learn something from time to time. Funny coincidence that my first tournament as an Euro Player will be 72nd Open d'Italia - as I'm Italian Best of luck to you all for the season.

So what did everyone think of the course this week? Dainton Park is one of my older courses and playing it there are a few things I'd change if I made it again today but overall its a course I still enjoy playing.

I liked it overall, even if I'm not too fond of huge PAR 4's or 220+ PAR 3's The design from my point of view is beautiful and golf-speaking most of the holes plays fair - you never feel robbed by the course Also when the Wind is high it can get pretty tough even for the "big guns" here

I made the course about a year ago and at the time never thought to test the course in winds other than the 1mph you get in the designer. In 1mph winds they play fair but its a struggle to reach them into any sort of headwind.

I kind of dig the course Mr Lowdon. I looked at it for the web originally but thought it had too many long Par 4s so decided against it. The length does make it stand out in its own unique way though which is good. I feel like I shouldn't like it because of it but I actually do. Also, there is no need for that big ass par 3 at the end but in this case I actually like it. Very Bizarre. If I were to compare it to a course that the pros play in real life I'd compare it to East Lake. Excessive in length, shouldn't really work but it does, with a long par 3 to finish.

I wanted a unique finish to the course and so decided to wrap the final two holes around the lake. Once I'd put the par 5 down I had about 200 yards to play with between the 17th green and clubhouse so went with a long par 3 to finish.

Had a rough time this week. Played well in practice shooting -12. Winds were low but I felt like I got a good handle on the greens. So many unforced errors later I manage -6,-4 for a -10. At the time looked reasonably safe to make the cut... just checked and nooooo missed by 1. My 100% cut record is gone . Onto next week I guess... maybe a little more time in the designer in compensation

Mediocre start for me this week: Rd1: 63 (-9) Rd2: 62 (-10) What bugs me the most is the fact that this time I did quite well on the putting surface. Had 20 in Rd1, and 21 in Rd2. I'm normally quiet happy when I'm somewhere near 20 putts/round. But those two first rounds I was somehow unable to hit the greens the way I should. Anyway... trying to go low(er) in my final rounds. New target is to be at -40 at least at the end of the tournament, which might be good enough for a Top20 result. Wow... I'm so pissed about myself. Had a good feeling going into Rd3 and started with a birdie. But from that point, almost everything went wrong: Really bad distance control, stupid approach shots, unlucky bounces/roll-out's, and I will not comment on my putting at all. Just ridiculous, I tell you. Long story short, I ended up with a hilarious round of 70 (-2), including 3 bogeys from Hole #8 to #12. Considering how I improved over the last few months, this was probably the worste TGC-round I've ever played. At least I was able to finish with a good final round of 60 (-12). What annoys me the most is the fact that a halfway good score in Rd3 would have been easily enough to finish somewhere in the Top10.

Well, one word sums it up for me this week,,, stinker. It was that bad,, even Tony McGettigan is going to beat me , aaarrrggghhh. Rd1 -9, then blew up in rd2, i was +3 thru 5, got it bck to E thru 9, then bogeyed 11, aaaggghhh, just could not find anything, eventually finished -2 for the rd,, -11 thru 2 is not going to make rds 3-4, missed cut 4 me i guess, same as last season, gd week, bad week, oh well its only a game saint. Well played 2 those who have finished and good luck to all who have yet 2 start , but please do bare in mind that -10 thru 2 rds, is a gr8 score. Seeing as your a Liverpool fan smiffers you should be well used to stinkers it's defo time for u to worry if I've beaten u I couldn't hit snow off a rope lately you'll prob still make cut though.. and u could still yet beat my very beatable -34 What do you mean Tony by the comment "I could'nt hit snow off a rope LATELY" ?? Bit inaccurate is it not ?
