Not liking this wind patch. This is my course, and I never would've imagined people going this low. Even in my practice rounds after designing it, I never broke 60 because the winds were almost always up. When they're dead like this, it takes away half of the defense I planned for on the course. Oh well, hope you guys are enjoying it. I opened up with an out of my mind 56 and ended up finishing at -46. Played really well but I know the bounces a little better around here than most. Good luck to all. For the reason u stayed there designers should not be able to play a course they made themselves as it give a clear advantage. When designing the course i am sure you hit shot after shot in no wind to see if the holes were playable. Not your fault but definetly a clear advantage. I am on the pga this week before someone says in moaning because u shot well. Agree with you in one respect Tom, as home course advantage can be helpful, Wasn't Poulter playing his home course in the British Master's the other week?, did not do him much good, lol, but if people/players did not create the course's we play then we would have no tour and players have been playing there own course from the out set, also good luck on pga m8, play well.

I played my first tournament rounds ever with ghost balls (turn order on). mcbogga, TROWELHEAD and I played a decent first round together. I was enjoying it and though it took longer, it felt like a real golf tournament. Then in the second round, the wheels came off. When our group got put on the clock, the two guys complained to the marshall, saying it was my pace of play that was the problem. I ended up throwing some clubs in a lake and finishing by myself with ghost balls off, shooting a terrible +1. But nice -10 in the second round Robert. I was also surprised to learn that Nathan Allen is a woman. Much more realistic puttin' stroke and easier on the eye dont need to see visible bum crack evrytime u pick the ball from the hole lol Shot 38 under lets hope i get rnd 3 an 4 scores the right way round this week (dq'd last week lol ) DQ'd? Really??? you lemon, lol

Think another missed cut will be coming my way. -6 and -4. Played average again, just can't putt for toffee at the minute. Finished with two more -6s for a -22 total.

After a T6 last week (my best finish since joining TGC Tours), I shot 70 and 71 through two rounds this week. Guess that's how golf goes sometimes...

After two good weeks it's back to normal for me. First round was a disaster with 3 bogeys in the first 4 holes and only 1 birdy in the next 14. I just couldn't work out the bounce and roll on the greens and had 34 putts, easily 8-10 more than normal. Round 2 was marginally better, but still so far off the pace - 4 under, to finish at -2 for the first 2 rounds. I sincerely hope that at least another 5-10 people play their opening rounds so I miss the cut and don't have to play this course again. Not criticising the course, just my ability (or lack of) to get the hang of it.

This was not my week and it is definately not my course. One of my least favorites in the tgctours to date.
I probably set a tgctour record this week though! I SIX putted a par four (don't remember the hole). I was on in regulation and left the green with an 8.
The long putting on the PS4 (for me at least) has become hard to gauge. I had a 42' putt up a 2' incline that fell off dramatically past the hole. That is where the adventure began and ended 6 putts later.
Bags are packed and headed to the next tour stop.
Good luck all!

I haven't had a good first two rounds this week either left myself loads of long putts and don't have enough fingers on my hands to count the number of putts just sliding past the hole and that was just on the first round. Second round was similar only I started with three bogies. Sat at -6 for two rounds and I can't see me making the cut with that score.

ROUND 1 - 65 (-6) ROUND 2 - 64 (-7) ROUND 3 - 67 (-4) ROUND 4 - 65 (-6) -23 total, enjoyed the course but was way out of my comfort zone, my natural instinct is to constantly fire directly at the pin which on this course was near enough impossible, hopefully -13 is enough to make the cut and perhaps another top 50 finish, best of luck to everyone with golf left to play :-)

Because my R1 was in the double digits, R2 was hovering around 10 mph, and my R3 has gone from 12 - 16 mph... Edit: On that note, I'm getting absolutely destroyed by this course and the greens. I really need to learn how to play firm greens, especially with winds.

Good luck to all. The winds are now far too benign. All courses lack the defense of Mother Nature. Hence, low scores all round throughout the tours. Saying that, I found the firm conditions great and thought my poor putting would get me cut at -10 but it seems people have struggled so I may just make my first cut with the full field, yay! Bizarre, played average as usual.
