I had played 2 rounds of this tournament before realizing I didn't register in time...I could've sworn I did, but I guess I missed it. Anyway I'm kind of annoyed since I went -10 / -5 / -10 / -10 which currently would've had me in 4th place! This might have been my best finish in 20+ starts had I actually registered!

Good thing there is now late registration! I think if you go to the main TGCTour page and scroll down to the list of events across all tours, and click submit score on CC-A, it should register you for the event. I'm pretty sure it's still open.

Thanks naldy89, something is definitely up because when I clicked that link it says I can't enter a score because I'm already registered for a tournament this week...I knew I had registered, is it possible it's a mistake one of the admins made?

Maybe you accidentally registered for a wrong flight? Try e-mailing commish@tgctours.com and explaining what is going on.

Did you finish in the top 10 last week and got a exemption?

You're right, turns out I'm on an exception to play on the Web.com tour this week! I played the wrong tournament so I will have to go play the Web.com tournament now. I didn't have any clue that's how it works, last week was my first top 10 finish.

Make sure to check your registered e-mail weekly, they send out an e-mail if you move up for an exemption or move up/down permanently. Good luck!!!

Really close tourney this week all, nice shooting. There was something about this course that just made it tough to get through a whole round without something going horrifically wrong. I felt that the winds really did the course an injustice, some of the more interesting shot options were made impossible because the winds were either too light or going in the wrong direction.
I've been on CC-A for a couple months and have been up and down the leaderboard. This was the closest I've come to winning an event, and I'm kicking myself because I putted so well for once. Round 3 could have been spectacular, but I really misjudged a couple pitches coming in and then took a horrific double-bogey 7 on the easiest of the par 5's when I tried to get greedy.
One thing I learned this week is that pitches from 45-75 yards seem infinitely easier to control than lofting up on ones from 20-45 yards. There's way too much backspin on the really short ones. What do you guys think? Doesn't really mirror real life very well but I think I will be laying back further on par 5's I can't reach from now on.

This course had some greens where it sloped down from back to front if you were short. I flopped one just behind the hole and it spun back past the hole, caught the slope and rolled back another 50 feet.
But you're right, in some cases, you're better off pitching from 75 yards than flopping from 30. That makes the course more interesting than mindlessly bashing it as far as you can.
