I was not sure what to expect coming into today, it's a course I have not played well on, I still am struggling to hit the ball straight. My form is up and down, last night I shot a 10 over and a 13 under so anything can happen. It should be interesting if nothing else. The first hole is a long par four with a tiered green, my approach nearly reached the tier where the pin was, nearly is not close enough as the ball rolled down the slope to leave me with a 60 foot putt, I left to ball 12 feet short but thankfully that dropped for par. I should have played smart on the short second but I went for distance, ended in the bunker. I still had a birdie chance but again left it short, par number 2. I did not leave my birdie put on the next hole short, this time I hit it to hard and went beyond the cup, par number three. I continued my par streak on the 4th with a lip out chip shot, on 5th with a long putt, before the streak came to a end with a birdie on the 6th. I put my tee shot to within 3 feet and tapped in, it was nice to finally be up and running. So I said to myself, now the par streak is over, why not go on a birdie streak and to my own surprise, I did, finishing the front nine with three more birdies. Could that last into the back nine, don't be so silly!
The back nine started with par with a poor approach, it is a hole where birdie is more than possible but I did not find the green, disappointing yes, but I was still happy enough with the position I was in after 10 holes and that got better with a birdie on the 11th. I was putting well, I had saved par with a couple of good putts, now I was making birdie with good putts. If I could stay focused, this could be a good round. I played smart on the 12th( stop laughing, I can do that sometimes), I left myself well short of the green so I could have a short pitch to the hole, worked perfectly as I gave myself a tap in for birdie. No birdie streak this time as my putting finally let me down, not once but twice, neither putt was difficult but my first dropped shot of the day was the result. That bogey knocked me back a bit and I struggled a little, I was still making par but was not making it easy for myself. I pushed my luck a little to far and dropped another shot on 17, it was starting to go a bit wrong. I clawed one back on the last to finish 5 under.
It was a mixed round for me, played well most of the way but a couple of mistakes turned what could have been a good round into a average one. Overall, I am happy enough, this course is a little bit harder than the previous couple of weeks, the scoring chances are still there, in that sense it's the same, mistakes on some holes though are a little more punishing. It is a fabulous course though, has such a real feel to it. It's not hard to imagine playing it for real. We have been lucky on the challenge circuit so far this season, we have gotten some great courses to play. I look forward to seeing what comes in the future, and while some may disagree, I hope we will get a course or two that really ups difficulty level, a challenge for us that are a glutton for punishment! Anyway, good luck all, have fun out there.

Damage limitation is the name of the game at the start of round two. The first hole is difficult at the best of times, with a strong headwind, a par feels like a birdie, my dropped shot still felt like a bogey though. I got that shot back on the next hole, it felt good to recover the shot so quickly, now I had to play smart to avoid dropping another. The headwind worked to my advantage on the third, it meant I could hit a wood of the tee with out worrying about over shooting the hole, 1 under. I went back to even par after horrendous putting. I have no idea why I hit my putt so hard, some sort of rush of blood to my head had me getting so badly wrong. I was kicking myself, it was that bad. Yet again I recovered quickly but instead of being three under I was just one. I needed to calm myself down or it could be one of those rounds. Three pars followed to finish the front nine but to be honest, it was just not good enough. I am used to playing in the wind, I can play well in the wind, I was just not doing so today.
I went two under on the eleventh, picking up shots on the easier holes was a most. I know there was a couple of holes coming up where a bogey was possible if not accurate. If I wanted any sort of respectable score line, I had to take every chance that came my way. I took that chance on twelve before reaching one of the holes where bogey was possible. I dropped a shot here yesterday and to my annoyance, did the same thing today in pretty much the same way, back to two under. I survived the fourteenth, another hole I was worried about because of my erratic putting. I now had to bring it home with out dropping anymore shots and hope a chance or two might come my way. A chip in on sixteen brought some relief before some actual good play on the next hole brought another birdie. Maybe the only hole so far where the ball went where I wanted it to go. Then just like that, I was five under, the same as yesterday. I hit the pin on the last, the ball dropped dead and a tap in putt. I played badly, I felt like I played badly and yet I finish the same as yesterday when I felt I played well. What a strange game golf can be, I will take it though. I might feel like a thief but I will take it.

Not real impressed by the 1st hole, especially with the wind blowing at around 13mph, which seems a bit extreme, but at least eveyone is playing the same conditions.I do find only 105 participants playing not a good sign especially with 500 available to play, but maybe its a bit early to tell. A good course, but I'll be happy to move on to Vallentuna.

There are 301 CC-B card holders, so 105 registered out of 301 is roughly 1/3 of CC-B card holders. Still not great, but the 500 is a placeholder, not a testament to CC-B.

So does that mean only 105 will play, or are there more that just haven't played a round next ?

Perfect conditions for round three, a great chance to push on and move up the leaderboard and my putting let me down big time. I left so many putts out there, a sub sixty round was more than possible and I blew it. It was still my best round of the tournament so far with eight under but could have been so much better, even par after six holes was just not good enough. No time for a full report today, might be a blessing in disguise or I might have faced a life time ban for strong language! Still some positives to take from the rounds, my approaches were good. So if I combine the positives of the last three rounds, my last round will be perfect, simple right?

Hey guys. I played two rounds this morning. Shot 68-68. Now when I go back into the tour, it tries to start me over at round 1.
Does anybody know what happened or what I did wrong? The tour doesn't show in the "My Played" section on TGC.

The tour doesn't show in the "My Played" section on TGC. Because this is on the tours section, every round will say round one. When you load up the tour, is there a continue button? if there is you should be good to go. If there is no continue button, then I don't know what happened and you should contact the admins. They might be able to help.

I'm back in business. It started working correctly. I don't know whether it was me, my computer, or some other glitch. At any rate, the people that run this tour are top-shelf and great to deal with. I appreciate the opportunity to be involved with this community.

I need to try avoid playing my final round on a Saturday. First, I can see what I need for a top ten and it's always that little bit out of reach. Also, I play a mini tour on Friday nights, I play against euro tour and web.com players and I pretty much always finish last. On top of that, they are mean to me and knock the confidence right out of me, excuse me a minute, I got something in my eye. Oh how cruel people can be, making me say words with th in them for their own amusement. Just wait though, some day I will teach them a lesson, the plan is up and running, yes I am going to elocution lessons! Pity it won't improve my golf, anyway, my final round.
I wanted to come out of the gates flying, like a greyhound chasing down that hare, knowing his owners future depended on it, that victory was the only way the kids would not go to bed hungry. Instead I started like a zombie, not one of those fast modern ones that can run, but a old fashioned shuffling slowly along kind, and at the back of the pack of zombies so by the time he gets to the victims, all the flesh has been picked clean, yes I started with a par, followed by par, followed by par, you get the picture. It took until the fifth hole before I finally made birdie, included in those pars were two of the worst long range putts I ever played. They were so bad the round had to stopped for ten minutes to give the fans time to picked them up of the ground after collapsing with laughter, sad to report that two did not survive, laughed themselves to death, at least they died happy. After that I put went on a birdie streak. What do you mean two is not a streak, it is in my eyes, you can go fuc(hsia is a nice colour isn't it). After par on seven, I finished the front nine with another birdie streak. Don't you say one bloody word, it was a birdie streak.
That streak was ended with a dropped shot and the death of another fan from putting related laughteritis, short putts this time so I was varying it a bit. I got that shot back on the next hole before a couple of pars brought me back to shuffling zombie mode. Ok call it a par streak if you like smart ass, I am really getting sick of readers interacting with me while I write this, I am doing my best here to be informative. That " par streak" ended with a birdie on fourteen. I made my best shot of the day on sixteen with a 230 yard approach stopping 4 feet short of the hole and no, I did not miss that putt as well. There shall be no more laughteritis deaths on my watch. I finished the back nine with another birdie streak before paring the last for a 65. Not to bad a round, but now I have to go toy shopping, have fun all.
