I don't play with ghost balls neither as I find it too distracting. However I can see how they'd be useful on the greens so I might have to try it next week. Those putts you mention hammo with having to aim far left and being unable to commit with any power for fear of flying past the hole, just have to settle for par sometimes (in theory). However I had one that I had a touch too much power and flew past and made the 1 bogey all 4 rounds. Hard to be sensible for 72 holes RE: Putting - completely agree that this was a tough course for that. I found myself throwing out Doyley's putting calculation and hitting puts way softer than normal. This helped a few drop by going super slowly, but also made me miss a few that I'd normally power in. In the end, the punishment for putting too hard was so severe that I opted for shorter putts. Either way, no flat greens to be found here!!

I've got front row recliners for all 4 rounds! You, Bob, Hammo and me - great 4 ball. I've seen great shots from all over the opening 3 rounds. Glad I can represent the PC side in the top 10 this week . I'm curious how much different my rounds would be if I: a) decided to use ghost balls at all and b) played on PS4 along with a large number of the top players. Honestly, I doubt it would make that much of a difference. If I'm honest, ghost balls should be turned off for tournaments. It's easier to play your shot having seen someone else play theirs and like Hammo said, you can get lines off tees. Cross platform leaderboards would be nice but with the site and all I suppose it's no biggy. The upside for ghost balls is that I rarely play practice rounds so it allows you to come in blind. I might have sneaked a top 10 this week - probably the only time it will happen with the field "weaker"!

Bumbling through my third round now... This makes it a little harder to read putts.

Bumbling through my third round now... This makes it a little harder to read putts. I'm going to go with 1 cup left from left edge on this putt. Approximately so that the center of the cup is on the left edge of the cat's right ear. This could be completely wrong, which matches pretty well with how I feel about reading putts in general. Edit: Can't believe I let Hammond back into this tournament with my round 4 after having a 3 shot lead after R3. We'll see what happens with the tiebreaker!
