Well I missed a 5 foot putt on 17 and 10 footer on 18 in the last round to tie Jared at -49. Nice little choke by me there. This was a perfect example of why I like to get out earlier in the week so I don't get all nervous by being influenced on other peoples scores! Haha Ah well, live and learn I guess. Good luck to everyone else Don't worry, I think you got the tiebreak if I remember correctly. My round 4 scorecard was just a whole bunch of pars. I'm not sure if I made more than two birdies on the back. On that note, I now hope someone goes and shoots -50. I rather lose outright than lose on a damn tiebreak again. Well I parred 17 and 18. I think I birdied the par 5 16th but no doubt you did to. If it comes down to us two I guess we will find out later in the week... Ohhh the suspense! Haha

Missed so many easy putts. Even missed a straight in 4-footer by hitting it too hard.
64, 64 (-16)
I have a feeling I'll miss the cut once again. Lots of good shooting out there and I did not match it.

Projected cut line sitting at -11 at the moment Sorry for those at that -11 mark, but I think they will miss out. -13 looks safe. The -12 players are the ones to sweat it out.

Couldn't sink a putt outside 4 feet if my life depended on it. You putted better than you give yourself credit for!! Round 2, putt on 18 for example. Both had 8ft side hill putts. You made it, I missed!

Never fear I'm back from touring Peru! Just played all 4 rounds much more relaxed than from before I left. Put too much pressure on myself I think. Went out and played with basically no practice in two weeks. Shot a -40 (62-62-63-61). Pretty happy with that - honestly just needed the confidence boost that I can still make cuts in this game. LOL. Hope this is a sign of good tournaments to come. How'd you do??

You made it, I missed! I can deal with those putts! It's the ones where there's a slowwwww line moving across and quite uphill. One would break more, one would go straight and not turn at all. After a few I lost confidence in putting completely. Round 3 was the worst for that if you had front row seats to that mess. Obviously, to avoid all this you just stick it closer to the pin. However it seemed like it WAS close and then it just wouldn't stop and trickled that extra few inches. Nate, you'll do better next week with having the break. Just play less pressure as you'd need 4 great rounds to win when the top players like duke and smurf are back.

I've seen great shots from all over the opening 3 rounds.

I'm curious how much different my rounds would be if I: a) decided to use ghost balls at all and b) played on PS4 along with a large number of the top players. Honestly, I doubt it would make that much of a difference.

I played with bob and your ghost balls and I can confirm that you did miss your fair share of putts. In saying that though, there were some nasty pins. I recall aiming well outside the whole on several 5 footers throughout the week. Nothing worse then hitting a great shot from 200 yards to five foot, then having a down hill left to right putt where you are aiming sideways at the hole! Haha

You gain great knowledge of the correct lines off tees, the correct landing areas on greens and you get some good reads on the greens. The advantage gained by seeing others putt on a similar line as you can save you up to 10 shots a tournament I believe. It amazes people choose not to have the ghost balls on, but each to their own I guess

It amazes people choose not to have the ghost balls on, but each to their own I guess I think it greatly depends on the course. Last week ghost balls would have made a world of difference. This week, with everything playing pretty easy, I don't think there was as much to gain from them (unless you're going into the course completely blind). I just find ghost balls distracting, especially on the putting green, which is probably where they have the potential to save the most strokes. PC's ghost options are a little more barren than PS4's though, especially with how early I play

I don't play with ghost balls neither as I find it too distracting. However I can see how they'd be useful on the greens so I might have to try it next week. Those putts you mention hammo with having to aim far left and being unable to commit with any power for fear of flying past the hole, just have to settle for par sometimes (in theory). However I had one that I had a touch too much power and flew past and made the 1 bogey all 4 rounds. Hard to be sensible for 72 holes
