Despite the front being nine being easier, was sitting -1 at the turn. Played respectably on the back with -6..... but -7 on round one and -6 on round two will leave me spectating Sat. and Sun. this week. Good luck to everyone who makes the cut or hasn't left the clubhouse yet!!

This game can be so messed up. I have played round one probably a dozen times and never scored less than -8 even in 18 mph winds. I absolutely love this course. Sadly hardly nothing was going in on round one. I had so many putts slide up to the hole and stop, roll over the edge and redirect and my frustration level was rising. In the end round one -6.
At this point I throw caution to the wind and say screw it. I started pin hunting, not babying any of my putts and being very aggressive with the LW when chipping. Apparently it paid off with two eagles and 10 other birdies (one bogey) for a -14. -20 for 2 rounds.
What is strange is I actually felt more comfortable and felt I was hitting better shots in round one, the putts were just falling in round two from longer distances. Taking a break from round 3. I don't think i'll shoot two -15's to have a shot at the win but I'd be happy to just finish strong.

Yeah Nah I reckon you will be sweet as Nocturnal. -13 after 2 rounds you should be sweet for the cut, I'll make a bold prediction and say -10 makes cut.... seems low but you never know, peeps might not even complete their rounds or tee it up

Having a crisis of faith on the putting greens plus I've gone more aggressive since joining the European Tour which isn't helping. Two Out of Bounds here will cost me. I should play my own game. -4 and -6 for a -10 finish and certain third straight missed cut.

You'll need -35 in your last 2 rounds for the lead Ron
I had the exact same thing happen in R1 and 2 as you. First round ball squirts galore and had a few 96% shots so only ended up -6, Second round no squirts and was dialed in, -7 after 5 holes, then pars, then birdies, then pars again for -13 so -19.....should be enough to make the weekend.
Round 3 figured I'd go for the 2nd par 5 in 2, never looked at the hole overview button so didn't realize those rocks are OB for some reason. The ball missed hitting the top of the last rock by a yard which probably would have bounced it on to the green and then the message came up saying out of bounds.......was pretty mad Didn't let me drop at the bottom of the hill so was hitting from the same spot, layed up and hit my approach way too hard off the back of the green, ended up with double on a par 5. Hole 9 tee shot just landed in the bunker, went for the green and it went 30 feet left of the pin on to the top tier which was 3 feet above the cup and about 20 feet to the slope. Had to putt the ball off the green as there was no way of stopping it, made bogey. +1 at the turn then had 8 birdies in a row to close out with a -7.
Last round going along nicely at -10 on the 18th and tee shot just rolled sideways into the light rough. As always I don't bother laying up and went for glory, except I forgot to club up to a 3W so got wet and ended up with a bogey for -9 and -35 overall. Doubt that'll be good enough for a top 25, but it should be a small amount towards Ryder Cup points?
Enjoyed the course except for that OB and the R1 squirts Great job Ian so far, don't think that will be beat.

Oh that isn't going to happen. I'm so fed up with the game and all the little quirks, I just played my final two rounds, not giving it much thought. -10 for the final two rounds. I was actually trying in round three and hit a phantom branch somewhere and dropped into a bunker where i was on such a slope i had to aim about 60 degrees the opposite direction to just get a straight shot to get back out in the rough. My next shot ended up about 20 yards short in the water and took a double. Meh.
HB Anthony and Keith has sent all this up to the developers. They have seen the videos and don't understand how it can be possible some of the things they have seen, calling it "weird". If they can fix some of these issues, great. If they can't / don't then I probably won't be around much more after that.
I'm honestly not trying to sound like a whiner here but after struggling with a new mouse swing for a month+, having balls go into the hole that don't actually do, have putts roll over the center of the hole and not jump, hop or redirect and just roll a foot past as if the hole was never there. I can't even enjoy a round with Brionne without the multi-player suddenly hiccup and put me in an endless loop of watching him make a tee shot, approach shot and birdie (it was a nice birdie) over and over and over again without getting to shoot my ball. Turn turn order off, make my putt and i now get to see him tee off 5 times in a row. Simply put, the game, at least for me is broken and has been since the last patch. Every round seems to have something weird happen that makes absolutely no sense and seemingly is completely random. I know, by reading the forums here and the HB forums some are experiencing some of the same things, but it seems that many aren't and the scores reflect it. I've followed some of the elite player balls to see their rounds and I'm seeing some awesome golf, but none of the problems I'm experiencing. So I don't know if it is my setup, the fact that I use a mouse, my platform or if I'm just unlucky. All I know is I'm tired fighting it.
Good luck all.

Ended up -16 through 2 rounds, hopefully I move on, otherwise I'll be kicking myself for going OB on the second Par 5 on front (#5? #4?) and ending up with a double...

Just finished the first two rounds of this tournament:
Rd1: 56 (-16) Rd2: 59 (-13)
That first round was insane. Had pretty much all approach shots dialed in and/or on the right side of the flag, plus one flopped-in Eagle on a Par5! Rd2 was quiet solid too, with some lost shots on the back nine. But I don't want to moan, -29 after two rounds is just awesome!

My 3rd week on the Euro and I've finally managed to put together some decent golf! My practice round seemed pretty good so I went for it, and something amazing happened. Drives were straight, approaches landed close and putts rolled in. Birdies and pars all the way from hole 1 to 18. Twelve under.... TWELVE UNDER!!!!!! That was enough, I turned it off, no chance of repeating that straight away. A quick screenshot of the leaderboard - 4th place - for posterity, and I was done for the day. I'll return tomorrow and try and make my first cut.
