Hi I just qaulified for a sponsors exemption for the pro tour. I want to play in PGA week 2 but there is no option for me to register. I thought this would be done automatically and was just wondering if somebody could help me please. It says on my home screen congratulations you have a sponsors exemption for the pro tour but I don't know how to use it.question is can I use it this week or do I have to register for week 3? As I have no option to register for this week coz obviously I've missed the deadline as I only recieved my exemption today.if anyone could help me please :-) thanks

You will have to play Web.com for week two.

Thanks for the quick reply swaeromotion so I'll have to just register for week 3? Sorry just a bit confused as I thought all exemptions were automatic it seems a bit unfair if I finish top 5 again in web week 2( which I doubt as I struggle on the course) will this effect other players chances at getting an exemption for the pro tour?

They are automatic from CC tiers to a higher CC tier or from CC-A to Web.com, but since taking a Pro tour exemption is an option and not required for Web.com members, they do not automatically place you there, but rather give you the option, within a one week window, to use it or not. Since you cannot register for week two after the deadline has passed (a drawback of us having an overlapping weekend of two separate weeks), you will have to wait until week three. If you get another top five in week two, you will get another (2nd) sponsors exemption to use.

Dang, now I feel silly thinking that I'd be able to use the exemption this week and not registering for the Web tournament for week 2. Is there an award for the person who e-mails Doyley/commish the most due to missing registration? I think I might have a chance for that.

Score top 5 again this week on web.com. Then you'll have two chances in a row at PGA/Euro to prove your worth.

Very nice to know but doubt I will as I struggle on that course and even if I did finish top 5 I'd feel bad as it isn't fair taking another exemption spot on somebody else, that's why I wanted to use my exemption to play pga week 2 but I was told it isn't possible after I emailed commish. Plus really love that nighthawk course too ha :-)
