Playing a round on G&CC now. Can see your issue re: the 12th, that tree completely obscures the flag, but you easily bend it round it, left me with a simple birdie. Cracking course, and there's a practice tournament up on PS4 done by nantez88 if anyone wants to give it a go.

Ah, my bad! The tree is still there, it would seem, or somehow I'm on the wrong course despite it stating "G&CC"!

Haha, I'll give it a go now and compare. On G&CC its a slight hanging red (I'm not up on types of tree) branch hanging heavily. If you line up to the left you'd avoid it though, so its about positioning.
This really is a great course though, good greens, some nice drives and approaches.

Wow, its actually impossible to get out of the rough on the right of the 17th green. I slightly shanked my approach, landed way, way deep down and it took my four shots to get out. Massive caution there peeps!

With regards to that rough on 17th, you get zero manageable height on a loft or pitch as its so, so steep. Uploading a Youtube video now.

Here's the video. I'm only posting it as its the first time I've been, well, that screwed on this game! Don't know if its a design problem or if its the norm on some courses, and if there was a way out It'd be nice to know how!

Yeah I'll keep that in mind! I hit about 75% of drives/shots near straight, but I still manage to hit them a tad wonky and end up in bunkers from time to time

2 things you could do here.
1) Try lofting up your flop shot to get added height.
2) Deem an unplayable lie. Menu screen, derm unplayable.
You should be able to loft up your flop shot higher though to get it out. Think Ive been down there before.
Edit: just saw your flops go nowhere, wonder why that was, did you mishit it? You'd probably have to just deem it unplayable. Think this course came out before OB was made available.

Yeah sorry, I didn't watch the whole video properly. Think you just get a penalty shot and drop somewhere.

Cheers for the feedback oswinner, I'll bear that in mind.
Found a fault/glitch on the 8th green too, it happened in both consecutive rounds. You'll see my approach, which I woefully underhit, and the backspin drags it off to the right due to the slope. The ball then hits a 'trigger'? or bump, stops dead, and when my next shot comes up it thinks I'm off the green. I switched to putter, of course, just seemed a bit off. Sorry if it sounds like I'm being a pain!
Here's the video:

Ah yes, seems like there is green fringe in the middle of the green there, must have combined two greens in the GNCD. That's dissapponting. What's peoples thoughts on this? Is it a deal breaker for you? Change the course? Or can you live with it?

I was fine with it as its quite a huge green so I changed to putt, but it did stop the roll of my ball. No idea how wide the trigger is as I hit near identical shots on both rounds Its a great course and very fun to play.

Is it a deal breaker for you? Change the course? Or can you live with it? I'm fine with it. I once DQ'd myself for flopping a shot on the green (didn't know that rule at the time). If someone used the club the game selected for them, would it count as a DQ? Just curious...I'd put it for sure since I can't chip to save my life.

It's classed as green fringe so I guess a chip would be fine in this case. Glad you are still ok with it.

I played my first round on this last evening. I really struggled on this course. For whatever reason my attempted landing strategy off the tee box was wrong way too much. I'm going to have to play this a few more times to get a feel for the holes and sight lines. Greens didn't feel as tough as Ballyntine, but I can't be sure since I was rarely within 10 feet of the pin.
I like the challenge though. Different than week 1 for sure.
Good job picking these courses so far!
