WOW. A breathtaking collage of holes designed by 18 top-notch designers to mesh together, shaping up into one fantastic adventure around this magnificent challenging layout of a Links Theme course. Anyone of these designers can throw down a course and it would be a well designed course ... but for 18 individuals, to come together forming a Masterpiece like this, is a pure pleasure to play, even if you play poorly and are a hacker. This course is a solid 10, and easily worth playing multiple times, just to absorb all the artistry that went into the details, creating this work of art. You will Definitely want to mark this course as a favorite, just to save time having to search for it. With some of the great courses that has been released over the last few days, I may as well just play and give up designing ... (Not- it only makes me want to do even better! ... even though it's not possible) I tip my hat to all 18 of those involved with this Links Wonderland! (as I posted in another forum and to lazy to retype it ... and not much more I could add anyway) ...

If you like this one...then I recommend the first one they did. its called The Forum I played it, I feel from a designer's standpoint ... this course was a much better group effort that fit well ... challenging enough for any player if the prevailling winds start blowing. One hole I did notice (probably the one you had an issue with) had a stair-stepped fairway ... but, even that didn't take away from this course in any way ... If I were shaping that fairway, I may have liked to use the wooden bench as a stairway ... but that is a personal opinion and the effort the designer took to step the fairway in such a manner still took skill to get it tl form out as well as it did. So I did not ding the effort. Knowing what it took do get that effect just right. I think when 18 designers can get together and put something this good ... it is well worth giving the Kudos it deserves ...

As a part of the team for both I have to say I thought the first one had a slightly better flow to it. This one had some schizophrenia going on with regard to bunkering, fairway edges, rough width...it just didn't keep the same flavor throughout. The first one had the same issue here and there but it wasn't as noticeable for me.

You see, this is why I gave it a 10 ... I felt (personal Opinion here) that this course had a better flow and feel to it. The eye candy was really well done ... not saying the first team effort was a bad course, I just liked this one more and felt the greens were also well done for having 18 different designers. Again, Opinions will vary from one to another as to what we see in a course.
Bottom line ... It is well done and worth the time to play, regardless on our differences which is the better course, by their respective teams.
Again ... Kudos to all that worked on both courses.
8^)
