Good to hear some wind is blowing in my opinion. The last few weeks have been very tame

Very unusual course. Not web championship caliber IMO. Only played a practice round. May grow on me. I thought it had a few unfinished edges, burn marks and was surprised to see that, but it had a couple holes that presented a good challenge.

Ive probably had my most consistent tournament of the year tonight I'm not going to say my scores but I shot four rounds under par. I wasn't a great fan of the course as if you missed the fairway even by a foot you were penalised with a low percentage on your second shot in most cases it meant you couldn't reach the green. In my opinion the course was designed with wind waiters in mind. It was certainly a challenge in the high winds we got in the second and third rounds and I was quite pleased how I handled it. I was especially pleased the way I played the short holes you had to be very accurate. Looking forward to next weeks comp now with renewed confidence.

Bryan I find it hard to believe that anything is a challenge for you

It really sucks not having time to practice. Only being able to play a couple rounds a week, the word rusty can't even begin to describe my game at this point lol. Just finished up my first round with a -5 67. At least, for once, it wasn't my putter that let me down... it was literally everything else! Even when I did manage to hit a really good shot, my aim point or distance estimations would be way off.
I do love this course though. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it really reminds me of one of the local courses I play regularly here in WV. It also seems the course creator knows every bump in the fairway and break on the green... very nice opening round 61 by nevadaballin!

It also seems the course creator knows every bump in the fairway and break on the green... very nice opening round 61 by nevadaballin! Thanks - my other 3 rounds didn't go so well .... lol. A couple notes on the course: There isn't any fairway fringe for a couple of reasons. Mostly because most people seem to think it's easy to land in the fairway all the time - alrighty then, if it's that easy then we don't need any fringe for this course. Land the fairway or pay But with that in mind, these fairways are wider than most we have seen on the PGA tour side of things. It's a give/take - give more fairway, take away the fringe. Long Par 4's - yep they are there. But so are also two short Par 4's that can be reached from the tee - even with the wind conditions. Although the 2nd hole in the 2nd round had my wind blowing left to right, i didn't have much confidence in the shot modifier to overcome 17mph the opposite way. Lay it up in the fairway in front of you and go get that birdie. It is too bad that the wind conditions are what they are for the tourney, this is a really tough course in anything over 10-12mph. Stick those 16-20 mph winds on it and it's just like any other course, it isn't going to be much fun. Which leads me to hitting the fairway on 18 in this wind ......... you can do it, but think about it first. Good luck everyone!

Just finished up my second. I normally play all 4 rounds back to back but after those winds in round 2 I was mentally cooked!! Couldn't deal with going at it again in round 3. Haha

Did I understand right that we have different winds for computer players? Yes but they vary shot to shot instead of round to round.. lol You wouldn't know PC had an advantage though with my scores.. One of worst tournaments I've had here so far. -4, -5, -1, and -7.

Hopefully will be enough for a Pro card.

You are not alone Ayako. lol. the winds on PC were obviously lighter than other platforms, however instead of constant gusts the wind strengths were forever changing but by far the bigger problem on PC since the new patch was the new swing, i have never suffered from partial shots like i have done here, so many 93 percent shots, even an 88, i know these have always been common place on PS4 and Xbox but now seems we have them too. all lead to another rubbish tournie for me -7, -8, +1, -8 (-22) that over par round was in such light winds (mainly 3mph) just really struggled with the swing, kind of hope i don't make the bigger tours and stay here on web where i obviously belong.

Further to my comments made earlier, I thought the course layout was excellent and I thought it had a good mix of easy and tough holes. Like Nevada says it probably wasn't designed with 15+ mph winds in mind. On the driving holes with slopes on the fairways you had to shape your shots into them like the pros do in real life. One of the long par fours on the front 9 at about 503 yds was impossible for me to get up in two in the conditions even hitting a 3 wood all four rounds but the designer gave us the chance of easy birdies on most of the par 3 s. The par three with the long drop was particularly difficult though in the conditions trying to work out the right club in those wind conditions. Overall though I had a good tournament considering shooting rounds of 66, 68, 71, 66 for a -17 under total not gonna be anywhere near but I'm pleased with it.

Hang on! You got 3 mph winds in round 3?? Please tell me you didn't because we got 18mph on ps4
