No FedEx points available - fun event with Euros crossing over.
Email commish@tgctours.com if you need to be put into the field since registration is now closed.

I know this event has no FedEx points (that I don't really care for anyway) and money earned won't count against R2D, but it's still counting towards the WGR, right?

Wish I hadn't bothered - horrible course. Ho hum! This One falls into the "Pretty but not that much fun to play" category for me. Got gradually worse as it went on and stopped caring in the end. Oh well

Oh well It was quite the mental grind. I had three consecutive rounds of 61 and it felt like a chore with the pin placements.

There's different types of 61s for me. Some make me want to blow up in flames because I should easily be in the high 50s, some are "wow how did I salvage that" and this is like "I didn't enjoy working so hard for this" 61

Yep, I've never liked playing this course even though it looks incredible. This is why I'd much rather someone put effort into making a course play well and play fun than putting effort into the surrounding looks. I planned on playing all 4 rounds but quit in the 4th because I realized I was barely trying anymore. I progressively got worse throughout the tournament and wasn't focused like I usually am for a TGCT event. Also, there are three absolutely silly pin placements in terms of slope.

Wish I hadn't bothered - horrible course. Ho hum! Agreed. No offense to the designer but this was one of the least enjoyable courses I've played on tour this year.

While I don't think the course is spectacular, i didn't hate it at all. I would put it as a middle of the road course. It looks great, but a few tricked up things keep it from being a great course, overall. I started 61-64. Looks like the wind is up for 3rd round, so we'll see how that goes.

Even though I only played a practice round I enjoyed this course. I liked the way the ball reacted on the greens and approaches didn't take 30ft bounces if they landed in the fringe. I even hit a lofted 3w into the D4 (11 I think) and the ball remained on the green. Solid and consistent imo.

I didn't mind the course. My best rounds were 3 and 4, and with the elite field I am not sure I will make the cut.

Unsure what winds you guys had on the PGA for this course but I played it the other day for the first time in 22 mph winds to the tune of +11, haha. Extremely difficult indeed.
