I'm starting to think my -26 is pretty good. I didn't originally.

I haven't played my tourney rounds yet, but I played two practice rounds, -12 and then -11. I'm not silly enough to assume that I have the skills and/or composure to continue that form, but what I liked about the course was the greens. I rarely feel I read them correctly, I usually, under/over read, although for the most part my speed is good. These were clean and fitted my eye perfectly, the pace of the beads were harmonious imo.

There's a point at which your results over a period of time become the new reality. I used to be consistent but now I've settled into a new world of inconsistency. And I owe it all to poor putting and 93-98% shots.
-5 through 2 rounds is just not good enough to consistently make cuts let alone move up the fed ex leaderboard.
All of that aside, I love this course and the thought that's required to score well. And hitting fairways is very important.

Sometimes I can shoot lights out, then come back the next round and put up a -2 after shooting -15. No rhyme no reason, just poor consistency. It is something I have been struggling through all season. In the tournaments I have did very well, I was able to put together four, consistent rounds. They may not have been the best scoring rounds..where people were scoring -15 i might get three -11s and a -12. Not the greatest rounds but solid. SO that is what I strive for at least.

that's at least 3 weeks in a row where I play 3 rounds with the intention of stopping then playing the 4th and crash and burn...ha! You'd think I'd learn by now. Enjoyed the first 3 rounds, the last one was just me trying to hang on to the strokes I got the first 3 rounds! I had so many long par putts after poor drives in R4 - way too stressful golfing that way!
66-65-65-71
Hopefully good enough for a top-10 and a much better showing than the Barclays.

Holy Crapola!
Im on approach shot on 18th hole first round with an easy shot to green. I do my regular PS4 new swing, slamabama, and get 84% plop right into green front water. I was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo maddddddddddd! Dropped ball, chipped up, made bogey, should of finished 8 under instead of 6.
Heading into 2nd round, as if it wasn't tough enough without still being so maddddddddddddddddd! 7 holes I am 4 over, OMFG! So just like back in my old real life golf days I calm myself and go at it. End up shooting 5 under with remaining holes, -1 for round 2 and missing a few close birdies. As I was putting a 15 footer up hill with a break for birdie on 18 I am thinking I might just need this one to make the cut if I am lucky. Been there many times on 18, 2nd round to make or miss a cut, several times. Dropped it!
I should be around 12-15 under for 2 rounds but I am 7 under, maybe I will get lucky!
Now that was a great golf course! One of the best designs, fairest-toughest we have ever played.

Plenty of risky shots and focus needed. I think you'll be fine at -7. That's unfortunate on 18. Nothing worse than the random <100% coming on a water hole, and a lot of holes are water holes out there. Lol

I just choked it all away. One bogey in first three rounds. Two doubles and a bogey in round four for a +1. While -23 is a decent score, I just ended my season. Pffft... I understand your frustration with an over par final round, but -23 is a great score. I wouldn't be surprised if that earns you a top 5, which will catapult you right into the BMW. Then you're really gonna have to put up a score because that top 30 is a tough nut to crack, but I don't doubt that you can do it. You've been shooting lights out lately.

Played this course for fun but thought I'd give compliments on the course itself. I felt like nearly every shot was challenging but fair and I had to concentrate a lot, which probably contributed to me playing ok on it. This is the criteria by which I would deem a course to be a good/great one. There's nothing tricked up, you can use slopes on the greens to get the ball towards the holes on some pins and you get punished for bad shots, which is how it should be. Nice job!
