I know we've had a few changes to the exemption rule so maybe keep this until next season.
The current rule is 15 shots within the leader of any tier above.
I would like to see this changed to within 10 shots of 3rd place.
On a normal week, I think within 15 shots makes it too easy to get an exemption. However when the old rule was set to 10 it only took one amazing performance in the flight above to deny you a deserved shot at promotion. My suggestion would even out your chances of exemption, making it fairer and not too easy. It would take 3 exceptional performances to be denied an exemption. This is more pertinent to CC-B members who only have one flight above them.
Thoughts?

27 got exemption from CCB this week which I feel is too high. If my suggestion had been used then 17 would have been promoted which is a more reasonable number. It's more important the other way though. If the top CCA player had an unbelievable tournament then exemption would be too hard to get.

27 is unusually high but I have a feeling this within 15 shots change is only until the end of the season to get the higher tiers more stocked up. Same with top 10 CCA getting exemptions.

Yeah it is higher than normal but that's what can happen with a 15 shot level. You're probably right. I'm sure it'll be different next season.
