What if you have a PGA/Euro card and dont perform well in the web.com finals. would you be demoted to the web.com tour?

Will we be having a standings page for the Web Finals? Staff has indicated that there will be a page eventually for the four Web.com Finals events. For now, there is only one event and simply looking at that events' results will get you the current standings.

This seems like the best spot for this. So doing an analysis of the payouts from last weeks play, and allocating out the spread over 4 events, here are my predictions of what the money requirements will be for each level after the 4 events. This factors in the occassional surprise finish, and makes some assumptions and uses some predictive analytics, but here is what I think will happen after 4 events to give you an idea of cash threshholds.
This past week 1.04 Million was distributed. The .04 is due to the normal cut line of 70 players being extended. If we assume that continues, no reason not to, the total payout for the finals will be 4.16 Million. The distribution is very very top heavy as it is during a single tournament. Winner gets over 100x what 70th place does.
Here is the amount of money that will be distributed to the finishers (after 4 events) in these ranges. Note the top 25 will eat up over 75% of the winnings.
Top 25 $3,170,000 25-50 600,000 50-75 180,000 75-100 66,000 100-125 59,000 125-150 46,000 150-175 39,000
While statistically accurrate, not exactly helpful to the individual player, so...
Here is where I think the bottom threshhold will be after 4 events of those ranges:
25th 88,000 50th 21,000 75th 3,000 100th 2,400 125th 2,000 150th 1,750 175th 1,600
I will be interested to see how close the raw math come to the golf experience, but if this is even close to true (and it should be), those with at least 2K now should be good to earn a card.

Awesome number crunching, Nic!
Seems like you don't have much to worry about in trying to earn your card via the Web finals.

Great crunching. I've been going on the thought that just making each cut will get you through, but 2k is a good goalpost. Hopefully you're right as I'll be qualified :-)
