OK, bouncing off another thread, I'd like to suggest something called "rocket promotion."
We have a gentleman that I'll codename "Pork Butt" so I don't embarrass him who has won four weeks in a row. He won three straight on the CC-B level, took an exemption to A and won at the CC-A level on that exemption.
Even with that win, he's still on CC-A and doesn't get an exemption to Web despite the win.
I would like to see a change to that rule because let's face it, it's damn hard to win in this league and if someone can win at different levels in back to back weeks, they should get something special for it.
So here's my proposal which I would call "Rocket Promotion"
"If a player of any level wins an exemption to the next level with a victory, and then proceeds to win the tournament on the higher level using that sponsor's exemption, they will immediately be given a card for the level where they just won PLUS a sponsor exemption for the next tournament at the next higher level."
In this case, because Pork Butt won at CC-A on his exemption, he would get an exemption to the Web.com tour for the victory.
Look, I KNOW it would be a rare happening. But I think excellence should be rewarded and this gives everyone something aspire to in their game play. If someone reaches rarified air, let's celebrate it.

I agree. But win only.
In the end this player is almost certainly going to move up anyways, so I don't think its a major deal for "Pork Butt" if this isn't accepted. Its more of a deal for the player(s) that miss out by one place for an exemption.

It's rules like this that I try and think back and remember why we made it in the first place - there was probably a reason and it made sense at the time - pretty sure it was to have a slower pace of promotion. Season 2 is just around the corner so I'll add this to the list of discussions we're having and see if it's a change we want to make.

Thanks Doyley. The key to it, which I think keeps it reasonable, is that the person has to WIN. If they go up and finish 2nd, it's too bad Charley.
