I hate the winds. They are total bs and hb refuses to address it. Yeah I agree. The wind average is too high. Needs knocking down. Played in way more double figure rounds than single figure. Links style winds is the norm on every theme. Bizarre. That or lower the effect of wind on the ball. I'm pretty sure the affect right now is way too high.

I'm not getting those winds on the PGA. I'm at 6-9 winds going South. Completely different from the ghosts I'm with.
Always something with this game...

I'm starting to think they axed the tournament wind again. Wind is fluctuating all over the place for me, anywhere from 3-11, going up/down by up to 5 MPH on a single hole, and the direction is switching in the middle of a hole at times. My ball has no relation to the ghosts.
I'm shutting it down after 8 holes. Don't like it.

Went back and finished round, wind was up to 9-12 and still fluctuating a lot on single holes.
Round 2 seems back to normal. 10 east on 1 tee, same as it says up thread.

Yup, I'm right with the ghosts now. All seems right with the world. By the way, nice course duke. It would frustrate the hell out of middle of the road players, but it's perfect for the PGA Tour. Not much room to miss, but well placed shots get rewarded.

I hate the winds. They are total bs and hb refuses to address it. These high winds are so unnecessary. There are many OTHER factors within this game that seperate players into skill levels. Winds should be a maximum of 12MPH in my opinion.

I like it. Just a litte more balance in a 4-round tournament would be nice. eg:
rd 1 10-12 rd 2 5-7 rd 3 18-22 rd 4 1-3
Y'all get the point.

That or lower the effect of wind on the ball. I'm pretty sure the affect right now is way too high. I totally agree, the effect the wind has on the ball is too strong. Anything over 15mph just seems like a lottery to me especially on diagonal cross winds also the way short greenside chips are blown about is just stupid. I can see why HB are refusing to do anything about it as you only have to look at the scoring for round 2 across all flights of the challenge circuit this week there are 56's and 58's everywhere. I don't know I love the game anyway and maybe I'm alone in thinking that maybe they should make the flop shot harder to execute as even the worst of players are hitting it dead most times like they are Phil Mickelson, people will hit to rough short of a green and flop up rather than risk a long putt on some holes where in real life a flop from thick rough is a hard shot.
