now to find out if european tour card holder are able to take part if there in the top 125 please? I believe you can if in top 125 of fedex points Same rules apply here as in PGA/Euro tours - the top guys in the FedEx pts get invites as well as in the Euro Tour money lists regardless of what Tour Card they hold. We may simplify them slightly since they are pretty complex in some cases - but safe to say if you're inside the top 125 on FedEx you'll get an invite. We're discussing other specifics with regards to the invite process but it's all based on the FedEx Cup points list which includes Euro card holders. Take Henrik Stenson for example:Henrik Stenson (born 5 April 1976) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays both on the PGA and European Tours. He has spent over 100 weeks ranked in the World top ten and his career high ranking of second is the best by any Swedish golfer. In July 2013, Stenson finished runner-up at the 2013 Open Championship. That year he also moved up to 3rd in the Official World Golf Ranking, and he won the U.S. PGA Tour's FedEx Cup and the European Tour's Race to Dubai, thus becoming the first player to win both, and to do so in the same season,[1][2] a "historic double".[3][4] Stenson described his feat as a "double-double" because in the process of winning these two seasonal points crowns, he also won the season finales of both tours.[5]

I'm currently 145 on the Fedex but had a decent week at the WGC so might accidentally find my way into the top 125. Not something i was planning on as i've very deliberately stuck to the Euro Tour and only played on Invites in the PGA (Majors/WGC/Players)
Hope it's not "Play if invited or don't play anywhere" as i think i'd rather stay on the Euro Tour and give a PGA card holder a shot at it tbh.

For example Jordan Spieth isn't anywhere to be seen on the Race to Dubai Standings (I assume because he doesn't hold a European Tour Card). Stenson held both Tour Cards I'm guessing so were able to play in (and win) both. Personal view is that there should be a mandatory number of events someone has had to play in the get into either The Fedex Playoffs or RTD Finals.

The only one I see with a restriction is the final Race to Dubai event - 12 Race to Dubai events are required to play in that field of 60 (which can include majors and WGC events). I've posted all the Race to Dubai details here

If someone from the other side of the pond has more details on how it works I'm more than willing to adjust how we do it here. I'm more than happy to have some help But prefer that converstation continued in the Race to Dubai thread here.
