I know it has been said that splitting CC down the middle would be too tough under the current format, but what about having another circuit for the lower level players. Take the bottom 3 tiers of CC and make them into a Developmental Circuit or DC Tour. Just an idea.

Not sure what changes. That circuit will get high winds just like all the other tours and any course no matter how easy will still be difficult.
My only suggestion would be to kindly ask HB Studios to up the chance of lower winds being selected.

The change would be the players in Developmental would be competing against similar skill levels and not seeing players in CC-D/E posting up -20's/-30's every week. Just a suggestion.

The change would be the players in Developmental would be competing against similar skill levels and not seeing players in CC-D/E posting up -20's/-30's every week. Just a suggestion. I've said this before but the guys coming out of Q-School and ending up on CC-Z, E or D all have the biggest opportunity to improve. It's much easier to go from shooting 90's to 60's than it is to go from 65's to 55's. With so many players in those flights there will always be those that have it "click" and put it together. There's plenty of resources out there to shave strokes off your games. Once people shoot 30-under (like the guy you mentioned) they are given an exemption where it's easy for those scores to move up the ladder. Also, you will never have a flight that has all players staying at an average score of above par - there will always be those that seek out tips/practice and improve - and when they improve it has to happen on the flight they are assigned first - we can't predict it and move them up prior to their improvement. At this point, I've seen most of your posts/concerns - we're addressing the course difficulty - but since we schedule a month in advance (and the wind fix came mid month) there wasn't much we could do about the courses that are up now. But to suggest splitting the flights into two sections is turning a blind eye to what will happen if we do that - the exact same thing that's happening now - people will improve and you'll be left with the same situation you find yourself in now - except we'll have that much more overhead scheduling and running a new tour. So I'm just going to respectfully say that it's not going to happen (splitting the Challenge Circuit in two) and that the system is working as intended. It's still relatively new but overall the flights are balancing themselves out. The demotion strikes are building up and with that, players are starting to filter down and fill up the bottom flights. We are also about to announce a tweak to the Q-School sorting to better distribute players out of Q-School which should help out the CC-D flight a bit.

Glad to hear that last sentence, Doyley. It seems the large scoring range for Q-School to CC-D needs a tweak as such a large number of players landing there.

Fair enough..it was just a suggestion and opinion, one shared by many members in the lower levels. Maybe just saving me the hassle of playing to get there and just putting me in Z is the easier solution

Also remember some new members are playing Q-School after only having the game for a week. It took me 2 months of practice before I could shoot underpar ( my record after a week + 150 over par for 6 rounds 2 months later -30 under) I played the Q school immediately. Big mistake but hopefully will work my way up in due course

Big mistake but hopefully will work my way up in due course I also joined TGC Tours after owning the game for only a week.. I entered Q' school while I was still learning.. I think I shot +63 in my first tournament in CC-d.. The next tourney I was +12 and finished in the top 70.. The tourney after that I shot -2 for the tourney and finished 19th.. I seem to be improving each week.. I wonder where I would be if I was able to do Q' school right now with my current improvements.. But it will be fun to see how far up I can move.. Looking at the scorecards I doubt I will ever reach the PGA level.. The leader of the PGA this week shot a 57.. He had a birdie on the entire front nine.. Made a couple of pars (poor guy) and then conquered those pars by slamming in a eagle.. HAHA..

My aim is to make CC D then CC C then B then A if i can make it to A or B which is a massive task and requires more time than i probably am able to dedicate then i may begin to think about higher but if i'm honest, these guys are like Premier League football or soccer players whilst i find myself playing Sunday League.
I do feel though i am making progress though. If you are prepared to put in the practice soak up and store the information (which i don't probably because im in too much of a hurry to play my next shot lol) i feel it is possible for some to get up to the and compete at the higher levels.
After the last couple of outings it's nice to think that we have a course next week that we can all look forward to. If players are to get up to the higher levels and are needing to shoot -10 and better to have a chance then we need courses that allow us to do that.
Have fun
