Not naming any names or even a division, but I noticed there were several players on 2 strikes this week that submitted there first 3 scores then WD to avoid the automatic demotion. Surely this should not be allowed? If it was me I would say that everyone that registers for a tournament if they WD should get a demotion strike.

Yeah I notice the same thing. I guess people will just take advantage of the system.

If you register and don't play at all then something maybe came up and I wouldn't punish people for that. However If someone on 2 strikers shoots in the first 3 rounds +4, +10 and +8. The cut for the Top 70 is say 2 under. It is realistically impossible for them to make the Top 70. However by not submitting R4 they avoid demotion.
If it was me I would take an average total of the rounds they completed. If they completed 3 Rounds take 98% of this total, 2 rounds 96% and 1 round 94% (Or other values chosen by Tim, Doyley, etc.). If this value is outwith the score of the Top 70 players. Then they should be given a demotion strike.
R1 R2 R3 R4 Total Top 70 Demotion Strike P1 80 79 81 WD 320 280 320*0.98 = 313.6 (YES) P2 69 71 WD WD 280 280 280*0.96 = 268.8 (NO) P3 85 WD WD WD 340 280 280*0.96 = 319.6 (YES)
