I'm new here and am not currently on the CC, but I think it'd be cool to have the major Amateur tournaments as tournaments in the CC next year. The winner and runner up of the US AM and winner of the British Am would get exemption into the US Open, British Open, and next Masters. If that player makes the cut in say 2/3 majors they could have the option of turning pro and staying on tour.
The Masters field also includes the Asia-Pacific Am champ, the Latin America Am champ, the Mid-Amateur champ, and the (now discontinued) Pub Links champ.
Since all CC tiers play the same course, I'd say the overall winner of each tournament should win the exemption to make more of a cinderella type possible.
I like the idea of starting as an Amateur more than starting on the Web or semi-pro tours.
Just a thought.
