Hi,
Could you please have a look to RAZOR’S TEETH, the second course I’ve published and it was not accepted at TGC Tours. Thought it was good enough.
It’s holes are varied and you are going to use the 14 clubs of your bag. It really tests precision and timing, if you want to score under par you must think every shot.
Many thanks

Today I published on TGC another course, La Cueva Golf, wich I would love to get a review, as it was NOT ACCEPTED, and I think I made a better job than at Razor’s Teeth. Could you please give me feedback on La Cueva Golf? Mant thanks

Here's the notes for La Cueva Golf from the reviewer: "I thought the layout and the individual holes were reasonable, but there were too many design flaws to be acceptable:
1. Many of the bunkers had very irregular rough around them, sometimes disappearing altogether, some bunkers had small fairway islands in the middle - hard to mow.
2 Large areas of the same trees at the same height - sometimes rotated some not.
3. More than a few places where the texture did not cover the base, resulting in "dirt" around the green or fairway.
4. Too many of the same shape bunkers next to each other on one hole.
5. Could use a little more smoothing, and better sculpting, some weird mounds where they shouldn't be.
6. Finally, and this is not a big thing, but there is no way to either walk or take a cart between tees and fairway or between holes - no paths of any kind. This would not have affected acceptance from me, but it doesn't help.
I encourage the designer to keep at it, but pay more attention to detail and take more time with the course."
Took a quick look myself, and while most of the notes are a little focused on the smaller details, I'd agree with his overall assessment. Things like the sculpting around the fairway edges and the number of times that surfacing issue where you place green/fairway right on the default terrain definitely hurts this effort a little bit. I think the greens on this one are also a little small and overly penal for tour play. Didn't see any outright illegal pins, but every one I did see was right on that edge of being illegal. General concepts were fine, but it's just missing some of the polish that we'd see from courses in the database.

Black ice 2: Not Approved.
Rough looks autogenerated. Bunkers are generic shapes, unsculpted, and cross surfaces. Sculpting needs work. Fairway layout on many holes is unrealistic. (Have more detailed notes if needed)

Landlar Desert Mirage G C: Not Approved.
This one was close but the consistent use of very narrow fairways, severe green slopes, questionable pin locations and general sculpting issues with obscured sight lines were enough to grade this course as not quite to TGC Tours designing standards (have more in depth notes if needed)

Not approved - The Atlantic Club
It says it right there in the description: only one tee set and one pin location.

Cloy - Par 3 2019: Not Approved
The overall feel of the course is nice and effort was given to the planting and water features. However, because of the above issues, this course is not approved. It’s tough to get Par 3 courses accepted to TGC Tours because they are not used for tour events. Par 3’s and 9-hole courses are held to a higher standard of execution in order to be approved (I have more detailed notes if needed)

I'm assuming my course Lost Coast Lynx was declined because it only had one set if tees but I'm wondering if there was any glaring weakness beside that I should focus on when creating my next course..

Not sure where you're seeing it was declined, we haven't reviewed this one yet. I got an email saying it was declined this morning.. Quite possible someone selected the wrong course and moved it back when they realized they had the wrong entry. Regardless, its approved now.
