Not approved - 4 Pines Significant playability, sculpting, and surfacing issues throughout. If you haven't checked them out yet, Andre has some great basic tutorials, and folks like Eric and Reeb also have tutorials floating around that can be helpful for really grasping how to work the tools. Additionally, for future reference, please don't submit multiple courses under the same database entry.

Can someone please explain the difference between approved and tour worthy. If my course is approved, is it then subjected to further review? How does the process work? Thanks.

Can someone please explain the difference between approved and tour worthy. If my course is approved, is it then subjected to further review? How does the process work? Thanks. So the next "step" in the process is rangering, which I'm not involved in at all, so someone else more familiar with it could probably fill in some of the details. Marking a course tour worthy indicates that we think it's good enough to be used on tour, and that rangers should take note of it. Generally courses that don't have any major issues, but the reviewer wouldn't recommend for tour use get the approved designation. Sometimes that can be a quality thing, or the playability isn't there, but there's a lot of reasons it could fall one way or the other, it's a judgement call. Not all tour worthy courses get a tour event, and some courses rated approved instead of tour worthy can end up with tour events as well. It's just a quick first judgement that can streamline the jobs of the people deciding which courses get used on tour every week, as there's already a lot that goes into those decisions.

Matt pretty much nailed it... I mark courses as tour worthy if I would schedule them on a tour... but not use them on CC (which I schedule for). It does not mean it will end up on tour or that a course marked "approved" would not end up on tour... it's just a quick way for me to look for courses that others feel should be scheduled. I look at both tour worthy and approved lists for courses to schedule.

Hi,
I submitted a course “Stoke Park Country Club (L)” a few weeks back but haven’t heard anything back about submission.
Was there a problem with it?
Thanks
