However please piss your ball squirt rubbish off to the appropriate thread. You don't have to ALWAYS be so condescending dude.. Always is a bit of a stretch, duke.

Ugh. Sat down to play last night, the wind was manageable for round 1 and I think I finished at -4. I knew conditions were better (softer) in round 2 so I decided to push on and attempt to get both precut rounds in despite the fact that I was starting to feel a bit groggy. I don't know about you guys, but I find it near impossible to refrain from imbibing copious amounts of alcohol while playing TGC, it's a real worry.
So the second round starts and the wind is 15 MPH steady on every hole. I was not to be deterred. The first par 5 I got 93% on a pitch and cost myself a birdie. Then it happened again on the 2 other shortish par 4s on the front. I hit a bunker short of the green on the short downhill par 3, then failed to get the next shot out and bogeyed a simple par 3 that I would imagine more than half the field is making birdie on.
I was seeing red (and blacking out) at this point. Finally, on I don't even know what hole, I threw the controller across the room and shut the Playstation off.
I genuinely do not know what hole I am on or what my score for the round/tournament is, but I can only imagine I will struggle to make the cut which will be incredibly disappointing for me.
I'll find out where I stand when I get home tonight and turn the PS back on. I really hope HB gets the wind sorted out, their handling of tournament wind has been nothing short of dreadful IMO.

However please piss your ball squirt rubbish off to the appropriate thread. Anyway despite saying I wouldn't play without my leftstick, I did, and shot a 64 on what was the easiest day for scoring, putting was unnatural couldn't get a proper feel for distance control, missed more fairways than normal and had a few 95% shots, this all added up to 4 red numbers appearing on the card and a couple of birdie chances going astray. All in all i think if had the use of the leftstick, I would have been at least 5 shots better, such is life..... Please take your phantom left stick issues to the appropriate whining thread. See, I can do it too!

I had 57 putts over the first two rounds. Not surprisingly, that's just not good enough to make the cut (and I didn't deserve to make the cut).
What I find really interesting is my real life putting is mirroring my TGCTours putting. If I'm making putts on TGCTours, I'm making them in real life. If I'm burning edges in real life (like I've been doing over the past few weeks), I'm burning edges in TGCTours as well.
What is driving me crazy is I can't determine if either is positively or adversely affecting the other.
If the wind thing goes back into limbo, I'm debating just taking a few weeks off of the tours. I have to play at my very best just to compete (not contend... compete) With any kind of disadvantage I'm toast. And just don't have the luxury of time to hand pick the wind to play in.
Overall just a bit frustrated with everything at the moment. Frustrated with the winds, frustrated at my play, frustrated for the xbox left stick folks.
I just want a nice fair for all tournament. And getting increasingly frustrated we can't get that. (and yes, I know that's not a TGCTours issue, it's a game issue)
Sorry. rant off.

I'm with you Pubknight. What i really want to do is spread my rounds across the week safe in the knowledge that everyone will face the same conditions. It's (IMO) how these tournaments are meant to be played and i think would be infinitely more fun than banging all 4 rounds in early.
I could do that now, but if i bump into a 20mph wind when most other people have played in none whatsoever i'd only sit there thinking "Why am i doing this?"
HB have done a great job with this game but they've bungled this one and i don't think the appreciate how important it is tbh

What, was round 2 supposed to be the easy one??? with stupid firmness, and weird bouncess? I shot-8 on first round, with soft greens, and slow speed. Round 2 was just difficult. I hit the foregreen, and it bounced away for 10-15 yards, and then rolled on.... Guess I wont make the cut. Whatever really. A tournament where the rounds change that much from round to round is just ......

64-63-70-60 -23 total. Not sure what happened on moving day... Seems I missed the boat. Solid play in another Major for me and I'll take it. Last round was fun, hit some good shots and found the bottom of the cup with the flatstick on a couple of outside chances. Congrats go to Pyates for the quick turn around of the multi setup. Course played a treat. Great job

You both could be right. On PC, Round 2 (the soft/rainy conditions) was put first, and Round 1 was second. So after 2 rounds, everyone on all platforms played the same 2 conditions, they just may have played them in a different order.

I actually credit TW golf in the past for making me a better putter IRL. I felt TGC was helping my putting at the start of the season as well. It's just lately that everything has gone to junk. But, in fairness, I'm junk on TGC and real life right now. So, at least I'm consistent. Consistently bad wouldn't be my first choice of consistents... but what are you gonna do?

I tell ya You are in 30th now. There are only 32 outstanding two round postings. So it's physically impossible for you to miss the cut. If everyone that hasn't posted both rounds 1 and 2 yet were to come in at better than -11, you would still make the cut.
