So last night I decided to finally try my hand at the the Q school. the thoughts of a Pga tour card dancing in my mind as I have been playing pretty well lately . I began with a 74 then a 75 on first two courses and thought ok the rust is gone lets play
Well monumental collapse occurred and I got frustrated I was spraying the ball all over the last four courses like I was using a weed whacker instead of a golf club... I vaguely remember five putting one time from like 8 feet ... ive never cussed a game so much even though I was having a blast ... Even my dog was laughing at me .. when I finally ended my 6 rounds , sweating profusely , hands shaking , I started posting my scores...
when the the final tally was complete I sat there staring at a +45 for six round ... I was utterly embarrassed!! All I can do is laugh.. I was at one time a very good player on PGA2000 players shooting -14 to -18 every single round regardless of conditions .. What ever made moron boy think he could do that in this game is beyond me ... I was humbled by a horrid putting night and it was just hilarious
now I'm not one to give up so it just wants to make me work even harder ... So whenever I end up on whatever tour I'll just whack away like I'm swatting flies and enjoy every second ... What I learned on this fateful night was
1. I suck 2 . Even ghost players can laugh at you LOL 3. In my opinion one of the finest golf sims ever made
back to the drawing board ... Let the laughing begin ha ha ha
the end

Those q-school courses are meant to play hard. I was like +54 when I started though honestly if I played today I might not be able to top it..Good luck once you get your tour card..

Newbie question here: After your initial Q-School entry for card placement, at what point can you retry and resubmit the Q-School courses to try getting into Web.com or higher?

I may be wrong canthitstraight, but once you complete Q school they will place you in a tour in regards to your overall score....You cant or don't play q school again and resubmit, you have to fight and claw your way up to higher flights..Using exemptions and playing well enough to stay once moved up
example: I was on CC-D I came in second last week, moved up to CC-C ... If I would have finished high enough this week I would have stayed, but I blew chunks and its back to D I go... HA HA
Hope this helps and is right

I just assumed that everyone just jumped into Q-School as soon as they sign up for this site like me and that Terry was revisiting the school! That's some patience to wait that long.

I think I fall in the same category as the OP. Bought the game a week ago, after seeing Rory failed to impress. I figured I was doing well playing a few courses on TGC, I used to play a lot of the 'Links' games on PC. Figured Q-School would be a piece of cake and I'd be looking at the PGA Tour or at least the Web.com. Nope, I failed and here I lie in CC-D. Time to move up the rank and one day be on the top of the leaderboard.
