Managed not to completely mess up and kept the ball dry for all but 1 occasion in my first two rounds. 72-68 should have been a lot better (did a 65 in practice) but I was incredibly poor with irons and had to do a lot of scrambling. Any idea if that is going to be good enough for the cut? I'm very new here

I think its going to be hard to miss the cut since there is only 80 players and cut line at 70 and ties....

What winds did you have? I played my first round in 10-12mph. Second round showed the same at first tee so I backed out to check it in Play Now and it was the same there too. Wondering if the wind balance has been turned off per Anthony's post in their forum saying it might be.

Yes, it was turned off.
What a shame...

It was 12-15mph for me throughout the tourney. Surprised I played as well as I did as the course had my number in practice rounds. 67 65 69 66, still not great, and probably won't be enough to let me jump the 10 spots I needed to auto-qualify for the open, but I enjoyed my first venture across the pond

Played my first round in 10mph winds. Shot pretty well (-6)... not great, but not horrible. Just having a hard time getting motivated to play another round to be honest. I absolutely hate that people can simply wait out conditions that don't suit them.
And not that everyone does... but you could tell from all the crying last week that there are a lot of people that just can't handle moderate winds. (for me: <10 = light , 10-15 = moderate, 15+ = heavy)

I think I started round 1 at -7 thru 8 holes with a near double eagle on the first 5 par, 2nd shot trickled right to the hole, tapped the pin dead center and stopped on the lip for some reason. Then it all went to hell in a hand basket. I think I finished round 1 at -4, so my next 10 holes I played +3. Putts were rolling over the hole and not dropping, the 5-7mph wind would sometimes affect the ball and sometimes wouldn't move it an inch. That continued right on through round 2, after hitting a ball in the water when a 7mph wind didn't do a damn thing to my shot I just started aiming straight at every pin since it turned into a crap shoot if the wind was there or not. Actually worked out decently enough as I finished round 2 at -6.
-10 through 2 rounds will probably make the cut since there's so few people but I completely gave up after round 2. Started round 3 with an 8 on #1 lol. I think I played all of rounds 3 and 4 just hitting whatever club it gave me and not using the scout cam at all. Probably played those rounds at record pace, flying through holes. Round 3 ended at -1 even with that 8 on the first hole. Round 4 at +2.
Total -9.

Not sure how the leaderboards look on other platforms, but on PC, of the people that have currently finished... there is one player (not me) with something like an 11 shot lead over second place. It's like he/she is playing a different course.

Please bring the same wind's back for all. It was really awesome knowing at Dovetail that everyone had to deal with what I was. My winds at Shingle where 8 to 12 first 2 rounds. Then the next day all over the place for my last 2. Fluctuating from 5 to 13. Glad to finally see my name on the front page of the leaderboard (thanks to the top guy's being gone). Just please tell me that from now on we all have the same wind's again??? Surely it wasn't abandoned after just 1 week.
