Well I'm on the 1st tee in some random 1280x784 (ha!) resolution with low quality...but it loaded so I'm going! Should be interesting! EDIT: interesting it was!! Walked off the first par 3 with a 7...game on! Sheesh. Sorry to hear that.

yea, shot my worst round in TGCT career - but fought back in R2. Don't think it's enough though. Can't even use resolution as an excuse - just played terrible golf. 4 water balls in first 8 holes in R1. Yikes!!
Posted scores and have officially missed my first cut. Love going into the US Open on a high note. Good luck to the rest of you guys, I'm getting on a plane early!

Your crashes and issues sound like my R4 at Nordea where my vid card crashed, then game upon relaunch. Restarted computer and thought it was playing different- set me to max resolution which meant max lag. Shouldn't have been a 76, but was enough to throw me off my game for sure

I think that you can use the resolution and loading problems as an excuse. We all know that you are a great player and I've no doubt that you would have contended this week if it wasn't for the game misbehaving on you. I just can't think what the problem could have been? I have played a tournament before when as i was going along it wasn't counting my scores as tournament scores, just as a normal round. No leaderboard was showing at all. What I did then was play a normal round on that course, then when I finished that I returned to the tournament and it was back to normal. I know that's not the same problem, but an issue nevertheless. I've never had the game single out a certain course that wouldn't load? Did you try loading the course in non tournament mode?

Yea, I tried everything - It loaded once at a lower resolution so I practiced it a few times but then when I went to play my tourney rounds it wouldn't get to the first tee. Sent the info to HB so hopefully they spot something - I look at the log that is spits out and I get this as the last line Crash!!! Crash in winutils::ProcessInternalCrash(PEXCEPTION_POINTERS pExInfo) It's happened before on Bison Run - seems to be an issue on Countryside courses when it does pop up. Every other course (including Bison Run) loaded up fine yesterday except for the one I wanted lol. Anyways, enough about my issues - I gotta get out and play some Elmview!

Another what could have been week for me I'm afraid. Some very good play generally. I hit so many shots that looked like they might go in for eagles this week, but managed to skirt the pin on the way past. I was pretty happy with how I played and the scores that I shot. 60,56,62,61 for a -49 total. Again though, I missed too many makeable putts, a couple of really short ones hurt. The only bogey I made in the whole tournament was on the 72nd hole. That was so frustrating, it's basically giving two shots away because if I take 3 wood I would have an easy birdie chance with a 20 yard pitch for eagle. I had 234 yards, a straight line to the pin as I had worked my tee shot to the perfect place on the left hand side of the fairway so the tree wasn't in my way and 3mph wind at my back. Knowing that I was sitting on -50 at the time, I was thinking I need to get to -52 to stand any chance of winning this thing. Even then believing that wouldn't be low enough really, I decided to go for it. I hit 5 wood, thinking that it would just carry and leave me a straightish 20 or 30 footer for eagle or maybe make a flukey albatross I hit it perfectly but of course it didn't carry and rebounded off the bank and into the water. I then played 3 wood over the back of the green and almost holed my 5th shot from 20 yards for par. I think the winning score will be nearer -60 than -50 anyway. If that's not the case and -51 would have had a chance, then I made the wrong decision. A really enjoyable course where you have to make decisions on many of the holes and shape your shots into position. Bradley, with all due respect, when you're #2 in the WGR and start a paragraph with "Another what could have been week for me...", I immediately tone out anything else you say. Seriously! Here's my violin moment.

Had a disappointing and frustrating opening round, -4 68. I've been shooting around -10 in each of my practice rounds, but 3 bogeys on the front 9 killed any momentum I had. Knowing that I had to shoot a low number to make the cut, I opened round 2 with a water ball and double bogey on the 1st hole. Ended up getting an eagle on 3 to get it back to E, but I didnt think I had a chance really. But I did make a run at it. Ended up shooting -10 and it put me right on the cut line at -14. Not sure if its gonna hold or not though. I missed an 8 footer on 16 that I would love to have back. Probably wouldve got me to the weekend.

Missed my first cut by a shot. No practice rounds for me. Been spending too much time on my real golf game. Trunk-slamming the week before the US Open. Maybe I should start practicing.

Shot a -7 in round 1.
Started the second round at -1 through 6, and was getting worried that I would miss the cut. Then went off and shot -12 for the last 12 holes!
Finished first two rounds at -20.

Well, well Mr. Sloan decided to do a carbon copy from me last week and absolutely blow the field away this week at Majestic Oaks.
We shall meet again in person at Elmview to settle this once and for all hehe.

Shot 64 57 62 60.First round I played approach shots well, just putted like a panzi... 2nd round even if I mishit one it rolled up to the pin nicely, thank you golf gods I knew you existed.... Third round was solid but I managed a bogey on the 2nd par 5 trying to do too much instead of accepting birdie, no thanks to the golf gods I am sure... Lol, and final rd coulda been amazing but any putts over 6 feet were a struggle. Very happy to be clawing my way in the top 20s and tickling the top ten. Couple solid weeks in a row. I fricken love golf... Congrats Mr Sloan for ending all hope swiftly.. Lol

just played last two rounds. 73, 57. Talked about your extremes, wow. Very cold then very hot. I did some really stupid stuff on round 3 like when adjusting for wind on the early par 3 over water, I adjusted to the wind like it was at my back instead of in my face 10 mph like it was, lol. Funny thing is I did it twice and was in the water twice. Took at 7 on a par 3. Plus I lipped about 8 birdie puts inside of 15 feet. 4th round I made almost all my puts and correctly adjusted for wind, whew. Easy course that you can make very hard if your not careful. On to the Open!
