Fairmile is my entry into the console section of this year's DT contest. The course is a traditional English heathland and is inspired by Sunningdale, St George's Hill, Alwoodley and many others.
Required elements: No water - it is England so could rain at any time. Entire course in 1,000,000 yard area - course is about 990,000 . Four greens within 200 yards of each other - holes 3, 6, 11 & 14. Three par fours sub 400 yards - holes 1, 7 & 15. Max 50 feet elevation - High point is 8th tee and low point left of 15 around 43 feet below.
Big thanks to all my team mates axelvonfersen SkinniePost mattf27 agrainger12 for all the help and encouragement throughout and to team captain b101 for all of the advice, help and course inspiration pics!

Very well done looks easier than it is well for me anyway. Even with default winds it was tough. Could only manage 3 under.

Engrossing environment and loved the planting creating a lovely environment. Subtle land movement with an eye on the strategic play, of which I am not. This got me into a bit of trouble but also on the flip side created some rewarding hero shots. (Driver/Driver on 8 was one of them!)

Lovely looking course that plays well too. It's subtle so can make you think you're fine to swing away and then it has some teeth when you get too relaxed. Enjoyed it a lot Alex!

What a beautiful course. Sure this is not a real course? Cause I would be willing to pay a ridicoulusly high green fee. Thank you.

Super impressed with this one! Greens were super interesting and sat really well on the land. Love 7/8 in particular. Enjoyed seeing this one come together and all the back and forth despite you being on console and not being able to file share. Loved this one and would suggest everyone gives this a play!
