This is my entry into the season 10 Dream Team competition for Team Petty, built on Matty's plot. As per the brief, this is an Old Tom Morris inspired Scottish links course. I tried to embrace the size and scope of the plot and lean into the dramatic elevation. There's plenty of blindness, tons of bumps and bounces, and the greens feature plenty of slopes—if you're aiming at the pin, you're likely doing it wrong. (+) If you only play only 1 round I would suggest Gold/Pin 1/SW wind (+) Default greens are quick but fair, I would NOT go to 186 (+) Red tees are mostly shorter but manipulated for some variety, Pin 2 was specifically located to pair with these tees. (+) Course should play fast & firm Special thanks to gamesdecent trailducker blindwolfgolf jcollick and tpetro for their invaluable feedback.

Really enjoying the courses on this plot with mine, Loved seeing the greensites you used and I think you did the best at avoiding blindness out of all of us on this plot! Well done

This was so much fun. You found green sites I didn't even imagine, and allowed some very enjoyable shots. Love the textures you used too. Great vibe to it.

Loved seeing this one come together man. Great work here, think you absolutely nailed the look on a tough plot to plant. Know how much work you put into this one and think it paid off as the best course you've designed. Team Petty continuing to bring the heat!

Was enjoyable seeing this come together. You ability to tinker with purpose really elevated from an already good initial routing to what I think is a big step up from you in your course design. Loved seeing the planting come together as well from you initial research. Great job and Team Petty is coming for everyone!

Thanks for the play bud, enjoyed that. You definitely played the course as intended. I didn't necessarily base it on the Culloden battlefield land (the plot was set ahead of time for the competition), but I did take some inspiration from the story. If you note my pictures above (and the logo), I did "recreate" the cairn that exists at the current site, I know you're in console so you couldn't fly-over. And as tempting it was to build a road hole over the abbey/cemetery I held back. Either way, appreciate you bud, cheers. early1981
