Kenzie Crossing is my entry into the 2024 dynamic duos competition, along with my teammate retteach's course, Kenzie Pass.
Located a few kilometers from Kenzie Pass is Kenzie Crossing. Originally designed by Bannister MacKenzie (see Kenzie Pass). The course would later be purchased by a new owner and completely renovated to fit more of a match play course during the 1970's.
The new course would have all of Bannister's trademark vegetation and designs ripped out root and stem. The original was lost and replaced with what was deemed to be a "better" design. Giving way to a more manicured and less natural look.
Thankfully, in 2015 a new group of investors purchased the now derelict course. They would next look for a designer to restore the course to something much closer to its original state. Robert Troy was tasked with this endeavor. He would bring back many of the original holes as intended by Bannister.
Robert Troy would lengthen much of the course and ended up with a few completely new designs of his own. The choice was made with the idea of bringing as much back as possible, whilst accounting for the newer technology and increased carry distances of today's game.
Welcome to the newly reopened Kenzie Crossing. Playing 7,652 yards from the tips at a par of 72. It's now a semi private club with hotel lodging and an indoor parking garage to accommodate the single player or group as well.

Not real easy. Nice course. I was aiming for something more so on the difficult side. Appreciate the playthrough, thank you.
